Kirra [lone wolf...want to join a pack though]
Kirra carefully looked around. No one seemed near, yet she felt she was being watched. Kirra jumped up, and down."Hello?" She said slowly, dragging out each syllable. Kirra walked slowly toward a large rock.It looked strangely out of place. She walked around it 3 times, before climbing up on top of it, and lying down. The ground was full of puddles and Kirra despised being wet. There was no point in having water seep into your fur and make you freeze.
Today was a day that Kirra wished didn't exhist.Cold, wet, dark, dreary..A gross day. Kirra's hope dampened with these kind of days. The chances of finding her sister were slim enough as it was. Having the rain fall down and keep her from seeing anything made the task worse. Kirra yearned for the days when she and her sister enjoyed these kinds of days, playing, chasing each other around the woods, trying to catch the rain drops and dropping down to sleep at the end of the day. Kirra gave a sigh of satisfaction, savering the thought of those days.

Alright, thanks for making the needed changes, but since you didn't specify which pack you wanted to join, I'm just going to think your character is open game. *Grin*
Of course, if you have a problem being part of Deadwood, we can always pull in Vannah's character and accept you in Stellar.

Golden paws barely touched the muddy terrain. Deacon tore a rapidly growing scar across the forest, between trees and through brush. The great golden male paused for no sound, no smell; his tail was even and his jowls parted in light breathers. As to what the demonic brute ran from, it could have possibly been nothing at all, besides, what could possibly get Deadwood's alpha to scrape across the earth at such a speed, he was certainly not being chased. It was more likely he was the one chasing. Developed muscles stretched till the fibers sang mournfully through his entire body; how sweet was the sting, how addictive the pain.
Like a golden phantom chased by day, pursuing night, Deacon leaped over fallen trees and slipped under knolls and nooks. It was as if nothing could stop the monster from cutting a flaming path of blinding amber through the thicket. Abruptly the brute came to a disciplined stop, powerful deltoids thrown back and muzzle saluting the skies. Steely rain clouds were beyond the horizon; dark nares flared, he could smell the moister in the air, the night would come with a wet promise. Slowly, the souther winds rafted a new scent into the brute's angled nostrils. He graciously inhaled the scent of a new creature, a new wolf not too far from where he stood.
Creamy librums curled into a cruel smile. What fun, another one. Auds pitched forth, his great crown becoming sharp and aggressive, but wasn't he always. Sun-burnt tassel flicked aside entangling bushes before returning to their thrown of authority. Talons sank into the dark, damp earth as Deacon trekked toward the newcomer, who had so boldly crossed into the neutral lands. It was a fae, but the handsome brute appeared no different then as if he was greeting another brute--such as himself. Females could just as well kill as any male, but just like him, Deacon didn't count on anyone winning a brawl against him. Arrogant bastard.
"Hello, to you too. What brings you to my borders?" He wasn't in the mood to play with this femme, although that might change with time Deacon just wanted serious business talk right now.

IC: Kirra tilted her head. So this was the wolf who was watching her. A smile spread across her face. "What am I doing here? Nothing really. Sitting here, enjoying the 'beautiful' day. And what about you?" Kirra was avoiding answering the question because she truthfully didn't know. She lazily got to her feet, tasting the moisture in the air.
Kirra gracefully leaped off the rock and stood within inches of the 'brutes' face. She knew nothing of how wolves acted with each other, so she wasn't sure if this was acceptable, but she would take her chance. "I'm Kirra." Her tail twitched, as she thought of what her sister would do. By now she would have probably flirted him to death. Kirra gave a happy little chuckle.

"What am I doing here? Nothing really. Sitting here, enjoying the 'beautiful' day. And what about you?"
The golden brute's face was set in stone. Firm jaw was defined in a twisted smirk, and eyes stared boldly at the smoken fae. A spark of annoyance falshed across vivid blue-violet optics at the femme's off-handish tone. To think the she-wolf could wander her grace before him and brush aside his question like it was water off her pelt. "What am I doing here?" Tone was sharp, mocking, with a cunning glint in indigo orricles. His eyes were getting darker by the second. "I'm here to keep the wolves that don't belong, out of my lands." Velvet baritone voice rolled off his sharp tongue like lulling thunder. His lips curled in a slight warning, there was no doubt the male commanded respect wherever he tread.
Suddenly, the fae got up really close to him, and looking him in the eyes no less! This made the brute's golden pelt bristle and his snout to crinkle up, revealing powerful ivron fangs. Pink gums seemed to glow in the deary daylight, and inch long fangs gleamed like fresh snow. A deep growl that rocked the earth beneath their feet, he savagely snapped at the air between them. He could have taken out that pretty muzzle of hers, but this was just a firm warning, telling the femme she'd better back off--and fast. Deacon had no qualms with fighting females, the great golden male would surely beat down on anyone who was asking for it. So who was there to take on Deacon when he got out of line? No one yet, the golden beast would set the curve.
Deacon didn't respond to the fae's name, he might've not even heard it. Nonsense, auds were satellites, sensitive and able to pick up the slightest noises with utmost ease. Alertness was what made the hunter great. "Deacon, Deacon Rheams." He grunted, turning his tail onto her, making sure she saw the great height he held it. He was ready to leave, troublemakers weren't the type of wolves he needed in his pack. Wouldn't want them giving his good for nothing Beta any ideas of a rebellion. "You better watch where you stick that muzzle, Sweetheart, wouldn't want to maim that pretty face of yours."

((Here comes Luna! *evil laugh**shifty eyes*))
"You better watch where you stick that muzzle, Sweetheart, wouldn't want to maim that pretty face of yours." A familiar voice caught the silvered alphess' attention. Deacon. Deacon Rheams. Luna rolled her eyes. She hadn't really expected him to stick around after pissing her off, but evidentally, he did. Bhah.
Out of simple curiousity, the moon-hued femme sauntered over, her head held high, silver eyes regal. "Temper, temper, Deacon dearest. Wouldn't want to scare her, would you?" A mild tone covered the acidity hidden under her kind seeming words. She arched an eyebrow as she glanced over the femme, an almost amusement in her eyes. Silver eyes swung back to the golden male, the newest alpha in a list of failures when it came to deadwood. At least Stellar had hung on to it's only alphess. It had almost had an alpha, but that was the past.
Re: Kirra
Kirra scowled at Deacon. How dare he talk about 'maiming her pretty face'. Her sister would have laughed at this and noticed how Deacon had said 'pretty face'. Kirra wasn't like her sister, so she took this as an insult, instead of a compliment. She sidestepped around the wolf and nodded to the new arrival. "I'm Kirra..In case you missed it.Though I don't see why he would 'scare' me. He's nothing to be scared of." Kirra knew she was pushing the limit of how long it would take Deacon to snap, but for some strange reason, she didn't care.
The new wolf was rather pretty. Her trustworthy eyes stood out. Kirra gave a smile. She turned to Deacon and scowled. Had she been immature, she would have stuck out her tongue..But fortunately she held herself back. "Oh...Deacon..As far as I can tell, these aren't your lands. I'm free to be here, as long as I want." At least Kirra hoped so...

A familiar scent shot through the chilling atmosphere. The brute's brows narrowed indefinitely. "Temper, temper, Deacon dearest. Wouldn't want to scare her, would you?" Librum curled in mild distaste. He knew that voice, very well in fact. Swinging around his powerful physique, the caramelized brujo turned hellfire eyes onto the lunar fae. Bold blue-violet oculars focused on the Alphess, shimmering with amusement and annoyance. It sure has been a while since their last meeting, but Deacon was not wrong in the end, they were destined to meet again.
At Kirra's, the foreign smoken fae, response a menacing chuckle ripped apart the rain clouds and unleashed a rumble of velvet thunder. "Your right, what has come over me. No one need fear the pathetic likes of myself." His words, his smile were dripping with sarcasm, and dowsed in satire. The golden male's sarcastic statement could have been utmost believable if it wasn't for the haunting, killer glint in his eyes, and the heaving of powerful deltoids--made to chase down prey that were twice his size. Optics of fine indigo were welded to the two she-wolves, shining brightly with maniacal laughter. Something wicked twisted the gears in his head, and something vile translated his thoughts to the evaporation of the brute's dark pupils to mere slits--demon-like and dangerously acute.
"Oh...Deacon..As far as I can tell, these aren't your lands. I'm free to be here, as long as I want." A low growl, not out of annoyance, just out of warning. "Do what you will Princess, but if I ever find you in my lands...I can't promise safety." A smug grin smeared across his creamy mug, one that opposed his previous act of aggression, but lay far from warm and welcoming.

OCC: Ouch...I'm not getting off to a good start am I?
So Kirra wasn't welcome in 'HIS' lands. Well fine, just another place she wasn't welcome.Kirra growled softly. Deacon was getting on her nerves, a touchy place to be. She wasn't scared of attacking, she just completely preffered not to..There was a big chance that she would lose, and she didn't like the odds.
'Fine. I'll be sure not to get anywhere near your lands." Kirra started walking towards the rock again. Halfway through she stopped. "Why did you call me 'Princess'?" The nickname bugged her.It was dripping with sarcasm, and Kirra hated it.

((Bhah. Poor Kirra got in the middle of two stubborn leaders. Tsk tsk. Poor child...LMAO Nah. I'll have luna be niceish to her.LOL))
Nothing to be scared of. The male was larger than either femme, and this amused the silken silvered fey. why did he call the femme, Kirra, princess. "Darling deacon loves pet names, incase you couldn't tell." A wry smirk twisted the silvered alphess' lips. "I'm his queenie." A quiet snort informed the both what the fey thought of this.
"Gee, Deacon. If she's not welcome on your ugly lands, where should she be welcome...Hmm?"the femme arched an eye brow. "Surely Kirra would be better off in a more vibrant colorful, friendly pack anyways." The femme grinned crookedly. She knew how the male's pack needed members, and she delighted in theiving away one who, with a bit of training, would be a good member.
Re: Kirra
OCC: It's just my luck...I always get on the wrong foot on new accounts...
IC: Kirra happily chuckled at Luna's remark. She was liking this wolf better and better with each passing second. As for the subject of nicknames, "Well, then...What should we call him?" She enjoyed getting on Deacons nerves. It amused her.
And as for packs, Kirra was getting off on a bad foot. She would have moaned in disgust at herself, had she not been preoccupied with taunting Deacon. Kirra sat down and shook her head. "Am I wrong, or do you two completely hate each other? Or am I off by a bit and you tow only dislike each other?"

((Bhah. Not really the wrong foot...Luna actually rather likes the little femme...LOL She enjoys having others that join her in taunting the uberlovely Deacon ))
"Am I wrong, or do you two completely hate each other? Or am I off by a bit and you tow only dislike each other?" Luna laughed throatily. "I don't hate our Darling deacon. I just mildly dislike him. I save my hatred for those who actaully deserve it."
Like Riushu. A shadow passed across the alphess' eyes as she thought of the male who had claimed her heart then, much like a coward, ran. She blinked and brought herself back to the present. No sense in lingering in the past, eh?
"So, were you looking for a pack, or what?" Tired of the games, she decided to let the femme off easy. But not before the overused but imperitive question on what the applicant could and would offer the pack. But the alphess would wait to ask tht one just yet.

Ivory lips curled in mild distaste, actually his distaste was more then mild, so the Alphess liked to flaunt how charming her lands were; well, how could a wolf expect to become stronger when everything is simple provided for him. A grim smirk etched the golden brute's mug, that dangerous smirk, with the leering blue-violet eyes. How amusing these two femmes were, especially how they reacted to his use of pet names. "Correct indeed, I'm surprised you haven't forgotten, Queenie, it makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside." A haunting grin that revealed inch long fangs, and velvet vocals that sounded almost truthful, but it's probably impossible for the handsome brute to feel that warmth and tenderness, not with his twisted heart.
Brightly shining indigo optics idly glanced to the new she-wolf, a touch of shrewish glee hidden in the fires behind his dark eyes. "Why Princess? Because you've acted very much like one, up until now. I expected you to like the name." There was that teasing tone again, it was accompanied by mock hurt, again making his words sound nearly believable. But like every time, the brute's eyes told the truth, then his tongue lied. Twisting words on his own accord, how expressive could one get.
"Am I wrong, or do you two completely hate each other? Or am I off by a bit and you tow only dislike each other?" Auds pitched forth, as a brow was cocked higher then the other. Hate each other? The silent struggle between these two pack leaders was like the war of Heaven and Hell, just that neither were particularly 'nicer' then the other. Well, perhaps the silvern alphess was, more then he anyway. "Naw, we love each other to pieces, can't you see by the way we get along?" An answer that was much different from Luna's approach to the matter.
"So, were you looking for a pack, or what?" Curiously, Deacon remained silent and listened for an answer as well.

Re: Kirra
A pack? Kirra hadn't really thought much about it, but there was no sense in just leaving and never coming back. Kirra gave a sigh and thought about it..Now or never.."Yes, actually I am."
Kirra sat back and looked at the pack leaders. She wondered what would happen now..Kirra had never been in a pack, or even been around normal wolves that much..The only wolf she had ever been in contact with was her sister.Kirras eyes lost focus for a moment as she thought back to the past.

Re: Kirra
((rar. ))
Goody. she was. Luna barely supressed rolling her eyes, a typical reation when dealing with new applicants. "Well, what precisely brought you here, Kirra?"
A different question from her normal questions. But something deacon had said when she first met him still rang in her ears. She now made her wannabe members prove themselves instead of simply asking. Deacon had been right, little as she wanted to admit it. Everone said that they couod hunt, or protect.
well, obviously, she could hunt, or her pack would starve, and she could protect, or they wouldn't exist at all. She didn't need talk, she needed action. Briefly, she wondered how her 'darling Deacon' felt about it, now that he was alpha of Deadwood.
Re: Kirra
Umph...An uncomfortable question. Kirra could hear the annoyance in Luna's voice. "My sister disappeared a..year or so..ago. I've been looking for her, but I decieded I need a break. I haven't been able to find her, and I guess I've given up." Kirra stood uncomfortably. "Boy, this is an ackward place in the conversation..."
Kirra looked up at the sky. Maybe it would rain..."Why do you ask?" She knew the answer to this, but she wanted to hear it outloud.Kirra's tail twitched..

Re: Kirra"My sister disappeared a..year or so..ago. I've been looking for her, but I decieded I need a break. I haven't been able to find her, and I guess I've given up." Given up. Was her idea of this femme mistaken, then? "Do you give up often, Kirra?"
"Why do you ask?" A bitter half smile twisted the alphess' l, lips. "It matters not why I ask until you answer my question, child." Now the fey was being condescending, however far a cry it was from her usual cold manner.
A peal of thunder rolled across the sky, but the silvered femme moved not a muscle, her entire being concentrated on the femme in front of her, to the exclusion of her 'darling' Deacon.
Re: Kirra
Does she give up often."No...This is the first time I've given up anything..." "It matters not why I ask until you answer my question, child." So much for a real answer. Kirra's nose went up in the air.
A roll of thunder 'rolled' across the sky. Kirra flinched. She was really uncomfortable. The conversation was going nowhere fast, and Kirra felt she needed to help it along. Kirra opened her mouth to say somthing witty, or charming. "Uh..." was alll that came out.

As the two femmes conversed, Deacon had plotted down with his great crown pointed west into the crawling storm. He heard the thunderous voice and the beckoning flashes of light that were so close, just overhead. A dry storm, the rain was soon to follow, like a finale to the horrible weather. The silver Alphess had a point, giving up wasn't very charming, but beings stubborn about it wasn't attractive either. They would need a good combination of both common sense and ambition, that's hard to find.
"Speak now or forever hold your peace. If you open your mouth, it would be smart to think you were going to say something. Say what you need to say, this might be the only chance you've got." Deacon's voice wasn't annoyed or condescending in anyway, surprisingly. It was as if he was throwing out the stone cold truth, a fact that was inarguably strict. Now was a test of the young fae's mental speed, there is no good in a fast body without a fast mind now was there.

Re: Kirra [lone wolf...want to join a pack though]
Kirra tilted her head and looked at Deacon. "What makes you think you always have to say what you need? What if you need a filler? A little tidbit to make the conversation interesting..I prefer not to think for ages about what I'm going to say, I just open my mouth and whatever pops into my head I say. And, it works too...I'm not dead yet..." Kirra said thoughtfully. It wasn't often she thought about what she was going to say for more then 2 seconds.
"Now, where were we? I remember! "Kirra looked at Luna, "You were asking me questions that are tough to answer..." Kirra had taken hold of the conversation for now, but she felt the control was going to be grabbed out of her paws in a few minutes..Give or take a few seconds.

((*happy dances* It's back, it's back, it's all back!!!))
Luna's fair face twisted into a smirk, her silvered eyes amused. "Not a particularly intellegant trait for one so young...one could be killed with a simple thoughtless word, you know." Hah. How true, and yet how often did the moonmisted fey follow her own words? Not very often. Why should the alphess have to think about what she was going to say? She was the alphess, after all, and she was here long before any of the others, and she'd be here -spirits willing- long after the others died. Including her darling Deacon.
Deacon. Why did she have to slip and mention the deadlands to the stupid mutt? Now she was stuck with him. Ah well, maybe the once lovely lands would flourish under him. Maybe there could be peace between the two lands as well. Hah. Not likely, if the brute kept up his higer-than-thou attitude with her. Queenie indeed. Queenie my ass. She looked lazily at the male, then back to Kirra, a lazy smirk on her face now. "So, m'dear, what is it that you think my pack can offer you?" Not the typical, what could YOU offer my pack, but a new twist on it. Let's just see how it works out now.
