MDK 2 Question There's a part in stage 7 when some blue lockballs fall out of some things that look like microscopes, and you have to shoot them. I think the same room has some spikes, and if the balls hit them, the effect is the same as if you shoot them. Is there an easy way of shooting those balls? This is the one part of the game that completely runs out of momentum when I replay the game, as I sit for minutes trying to shoot those things. I LOOOOOOVE Flying Omelette!!

MDK 2
I don't remember the spikes, but I do remember thinking the balls had a pattern as they bounced around. I noticed one spot where they go straight and fairly level, and camped out so it came straight towards me. I didn't languish too long there. Give it a try.

MDK 2 I started this game for the PS 2, too (also?). I found the control scheme that is the same as the DC's, which I was happy to find. Anyway, it's pretty much the same, only easier. I'm playing on Hard, and it's still easier the DC version. For one, there are some rooms with less sentry lasters. Like, I seem to remember some rooms in level 2 that had 4 guns, but in the PS 2 version, there's only two. Also, there's several spots where there's one less Bif. (In other words, if a room in the DC version had 3, the PS 2 version has only 2.) There're also little pulsing target circles that show what to shoot at. Along those lines, the targets on the wall in level 4 (where you have to bounce the sniper shells off the wall) are a lot brighter. Anyway, if you already have the DC version, there's no reason to get the PS2 game. But if you don't have a DC or you're easily frustrated by hard games, go for the PS 2 version. |
