Miscarraige
This is my first posting, I've been lurking around looking at different postings for weeks. My DH and I have only been TTC actively for 1 month. I am seeing a specialist because I have PCOS. Just this last Thursday I surprisingly found out I was pregnant, then on Friday started spotting. This was my first pregnancy, so naturally I was so excited to tell some close friends and family. We couldn't believe it happened so soon. I basically bled all weekend and had some light cramping Sunday morning. The bleeding continued, but not heavy on my pad, but some blood clots in the toilet and when I wiped. I knew something was wrong. So many people said it was normal to bleed a little, but I knew something wasn't right. I would have been in my 5th week this week. I went to the doctor's today and they confirmed that I had a miscarraige. It must have happened sometime between Thursday and today. I'm feeling a little hopeless right now, just unsure what went wrong and I'm not real optimistic about starting again.

I think I just needed to share my situation...

If this happened to anyone, how long did you wait (if any time) to start trying again? I feel like I need a bit of a break, but I'm not sure.

Re: Miscarraige
Hi there and welcome!
I'm so sorry for your loss. :( I wanted to post and let you know that the ladies that used to post at this board (including myself and my co-moderator Lisa) have moved to the Loss Support board on Pregnancy and Baby.com. (It's an ezboard site... so your member name and account will work... as long as you signed up for a global acct.) Due to some legal issues, the good ladies that started ePregnancy have lost the boards to a company called Grace Enterprises. We chose to stick together and move to their new site. It's pretty much the same maybe even better! You are more than welcome to join us over there since not many people are posting here anymore. I'm still coming here to check for folks that need support. So, I hope to see you over there sweetie. Feel free to email me if you need.....

Also, read our sticky at the top of the board titled, "Wonder where we are?" That explains some.....
Hope to see you over on P&B!
:heart

Re: Miscarraige
Tricia,

Sorry for your loss sweetie. I'm sure both you and hubby will go through a wide range of feelings but just know they're all understandable...you'll both need room and talking time.

As far as trying again that's mostly up to you...what has your doctor said? I m/c'd in November and we still haven't tried again...to be honest, I'm too scared for now. I want to make sure I'm healthy and that things are on the up and up but I know some folks try as soon as 3 months from their m/c. In any event, don't feel pressured--do what you feel is best for you doll. Sorry that you're here for WHY you are, but we're glad you are just the same. We care hon! We know how this feels.
