Mr Prendergast,
Firstly, welcome to your office. Things haven't changed much since you were here last -- I hope the decor is to your liking.
As you may have read in the Dáil, I really feel you need to get a move on with the appointment of your cabinet. The most important positions to allocate are those of Foreign Minister and Interior Minister, as these two men will have -crucial- roles to play in the coming weeks.
Firstly, may I suggest that you appoint Tom Kelly as our Foreign Minister, as he is on good terms with most of our Allies, and as such is well placed to claw back copies of our treaties (again, see my post in the Dáil). For the Interior Minister, you -really- need somebody who is going to have a high level of activity over the next week or two, as they need to compile a census of current citizens and possibly get the Oath thing going again. I don't want to pre-empt this and set up a census myself, though it's probably worth noting that I can use the admin section to track down the names of all our -past- citizens quite easilly.
Finally, congratulations on your victory. The DLP is in a sound position from which to claw Talamthom back from the brink once again, and I have no doubt we can pull it off.
