Necro Solo guide (hunting spots
Got this off of VN boards... it's purty good I think. (credits go to OdoggGoneit)
NECRO LEVELING GUIDE Version 2.0
1 - 2 swamp goos
1-5 can be done outside gothwaite
2 - 4 headless dead, skeletons
3 - 4 urchin quibs
5 - 6 soggy skeletons
6 bogmen/rats
7-10 death grip vines then undead knights/squires
7-12 MARSH CRUDS! just behind caifelle, get in trouble run to the gaurds and so on. They are nuetral so great place with not much aggro and a wide con range of the mobs. Careful of any of those reflective spheres when it rains, buffs the hell outta them. Alluvian Globules haves claimed many lives =]
9 - 12 on undead druids just south of mythria
9 - 11 ghosts before you get to Caifelle
10-13 got a group in sals and killed raiders
12 - 14 marsh cruds along beach behind Caifelle
12 - 16: Sodden Corpses, Waterbloated Corpses, Corpse Lights and Bugganes on the hill to the left of Caffeile(sp?), running all the way down to the beach. The Sodden and Waterbloated corpses gather at the end of the hill on the beach.
12-16 Hooligans N Such right in site of the Annoigel bindstone. GReAT PLACE! Once Hooligans, Corpse Candles get to easy move to Bugganes and Waterloggd corspes.
13-16 sodden warriors and bugganes right outside the outrider forts in the isle of glass
14 15 Disturbed presences located outside of Keltoi
14 - 15 I did Mud Golems down in Avalon Marsh
15 - 18 sodden warriors, bugganes, etc at bend in road heading to Aingenell (sp?), on either side of the road right before Aingenell or along the beach.
16-18 corpse lights near the barricades by the avalonian archer towers in the isle of glass
17 - 20 Drakorian pillagers and plunderers by the standing stones. Two camps of these, one on each side of the main camp with the mages.
18 - 20 and probably 20 you can do ghoul lords/knights in avalon marsh.
18-26. took me 1 day (about 5 hours of play)to get to 26 the fastest part was when I found these mages. From Gothwaite Keep ride to Wearyall as you get to the tents jump off. Pulling the mages, the mages stop and try and cast and keep trying to cast the whole time, make sure to put your pet on passive as you will never see any damage. If you manage to actually get in combat they have caster hit points and die rather easily.
19 22 The Centurion guards that line the path to Catacombs and the house down the hill. Yellow and blues. They actually pair up in a yellow and blue combination so you get a sick group bonus on certain pulls.
20-23 There's a druid ring near the south tower in the salisbury plains. At night very heavy spawn, though calls for help can make things a bit hectic. Also the ruined bridge in the corner of the plains is also not a bad spot, you will pull a pair here, either orange/yellow or yellow blue depending on your lvl skeletal legionare/centurion is the spawn, nice bounce back and forth when it's daylight and normal druids spawn at the ring.
21-23 ******rees/snatchers/seedsmen near the avalon isle border and water shucks close to the drakoran camp with the mages
(extremely important note: do not try and do the drakoran mages, they will baf and WILL nuke/snare while getting hit. I have lost many a reanimated necroservant from them because they ignore gettin hit. they only way i have found they will die is if you send your pet into combat with them while they are out scouting)
23 26 Cornwall Hunters camp right behind cornwall station.
24 to 29 Gray Ghosts
27 28 Legionaires outside Catacombs
27 undead monks in the barfog, and due west of it bwgwls. Both undead mobs, and you can bounce between the two when one of the camps goes stale.
28 34 Dunters in Lyonesse.
30 - 34 Undead apple pickers by Wearyall
30 - 36 To many mobs to say in Shire of Devvry but roam around Ft Gwyntel.
32 33 Bwguls and Undead monks Llyn Barfog
35 41 Danion Clerks Danion Poisons can be turned in at Cornwall Station Go into Lyonesse but instead of going to the left move to the right up the hill. You will run into a house that has some inside but the endless spawn is behind house.
35 - 38 Undead marshmen or grangers by Wearyall
35-39 spot for Necros,Its just outside of Wearyall Village you can bind in the Village. Run NW of the town should take you about 1 minute from town to the Lamial Enchantresses. They are almost identical to the Drakonan Mages, they keep trying to cast while you nuke them to death.Try and stay at the outskirts of the spawn as they Call for help. Also if you followed my path they will be friendly to you, as the Drakonan's and Lamials are oppositely factioned.
39-42 Crafted Bowman, Urchins (that baf 2 crafted creature that could be either a hunter or a brawler melee type), and forest observers. They were everywhere and I could just sit and chain nuke these Bowman for nice exp and they would never charge only sit there and get interupted, hehehehe. I made upto 3 plat here (I was amazed that I had 2 plat at level 40) The urchins are the gold droppers. If you kill a crafter creature before the urchin he would insta spawn another (always having 2 crafted creatures). Once you nuke the urchin he would run off and his creatures would attack. Then he would come back to help them. What I did was nuke the urchin 3 times on pulling he ran very low on health. I then would nuke the melee mob with the insta lifetap to keep my health up (but Not kill him), Urchin would run in around this time. I would immediately change to him kill him, then finish the melee pet. The archer left is the one holding the 1-3 gold and very easy to get a nuke in to interupt his shooting. I love Baf mobs that are easy to kill.
40 42 Echo room in barrows
41 43 Danion Fisherman Danion Fishing Flys can be turned in at Caer Withrin Drop Necro Staffs
42+ is nothing but great exp in Caldey. Every mob has a + to our nukes. Magis are dropping uber cloaks, trees out there are dropping 45 level staffs, and ecto minions are dropping level 50 NECRO STAVES!
44 50 Danion Farmers Danion Harvest List can be turned in at near the portal to Avalon City
46 50 Barrows. This is where I went from
46 50. We can solo the wight ramp, Celtics, and the Skeletal druids. I would go in sessions clearing the camp bonus at each spot. Typically done early or late to avoid other people. You should be able to get your pet and you down without fighting your way in. Come to door and put pet on stay. Go into room before wights and release your pet. Make a new one. That is how I moved around.
