New Here.
Hey gals.
I'm joining you from the October boards. I'm scheduled for a D&C on Monday & I can't believe it. I had NO trouble getting pregnant (this wouldve been my third child) and have had no previous pregnancy troubles. I realize everything happens for a reason & that this is nature taking it's course.
I have a big weekend planned & am going through with it. I think the distraction is keeping me from focusing on the obvious. My husband keeps calling me brave, but really I think I'm a big wuss...Avoiding everything.
I have a feeling Monday will be very hard.
Anyway, I'll be hangin around for a while. Hope y'all don't mind.
Oh & our anniversary is 4/1 (tuesday)...Nice present, huh?
I am so sorry for your loss. We all grieve differently. If this is how you are feeling right now, then go with it. If you feel different later, don't question it just know that if you do get more take the time to grieve. There is no set way you should feel. For me it was hard the first week, I felt better the 2nd and now it is the 3rd week since I learned about my loss and I am having even a harder time. So you just don't know. Hope you do have a good weekend.
I am sorry you have to be here but and the ladies here are wonderful.

I am so sorry for your loss. I was also on the October boards for some time and it pains me to see someone new here. But having said that, we are all going through the same thing and we are all here for you. All of deal with our losses differently and you must do what is right for you. You must be kind and gentle to yourself right now, there may be a lot of ups and downs for you.....I go through several, sometimes in the course of one day.... I hope that you will get to know all of us and lean on us when you need to.

I'm sorry when I see a new member but I you with open arms and will be for you on Monday. Enjoy the weekend but do try to prepare yourself for the D&C emotionally. We have been there so we are here if you have any questions before Monday and after. Take care sweetie!

I would like to say , although a sad welcome. I'm very sorry for your loss. I too, like SO many (its kinda strange) am from the October board. But I've been with these wonderful ladies now for about 1 month, and it has helped me so much. DH doesn't understand, but I really don't care, because we all share something in common ~ something nobody should have to go through.
I hope you have a great weekend and get your mind off things for a while. I will be for you on Monday for a smooth procedure and a quick physical recovery!

I am so sorry you are going through this. We all know how hard it it to go through the loss of a baby. I am sorry you are having to join us. I pray that you will find comfort and strength from these women, they are wonderful. Please know that we are here for you, whenever you need us.

I'm sorry for your loss, Jennifer. It's a hard thing to believe that you've lost your little one, maybe you're still in shock, which is completely normal. Go ahead and enjoy the weekend as best you can, staying busy will at least it'll keep your mind off of the D&C on monday.
I that things go well on Monday. We'll be here, waiting to hear how you're doing.

I'm so sorry for your loss, sweetie. You have joined a sisterhood of women that shouldn't even exist....those who have lost their child. This will be one of the most trying and difficult times you will ever face, and I hope that we can make it just a bit easier.
It is good that you feel up to going through with your weekend plans, and I will be thinking about you on Monday. The hardest part for me was going back into the "real world". Everytime someone was nice to me, I started to cry....go figure .
Lean on those you love and post whenever you are feeling , we are here for you.

I'm so sorry for your loss. Please know we're always here for you. I admire you for going ahead with your w/e plans. Just remember to take care of YOU and only do what you want to do. I will be thinking of you Monday. I was very emotional before my D&C... but it went well and I never experienced any cramping or heavy bleeding afterwards. It was just like a light period for 5 days.
Again, I'm so sorry you're going through this. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.........

Newly lost my angelMy name is DeLinda, just lost my angel about a week ago, but just now able to even logon to this site again. I was in the October board for about a month, and it's tough coming to 'terms' with reality.
I've just come to decide that God took our angel because it would've been better in heaven for him/her. I was 10 wks along, but was already so excited. Anyway, just say a prayer for me, and I'll too say one for all of you as well.
Well, I survived the D&C & seem to be fine. I still have the distraction of the weekend to take my mind off of things, it was a great weekend (stayed at a cabin in the mountains of NC with many friends & went to a concert-fyi:I'm the biggest Dave Matthews fan ever).
Anyway, I feel fine both mentally & physically, and look forward to TTC again, and to getting to know you guys better. Thanks for such a sweet welcome!
