New Idea for a Super Hero I went on a tour of a solar cell plant today. Before we went in, we had to sign an agreement that would absolve the company if we were injured during our visit. So, I thought to myself, what would happen if the deposition chamber ruptured, and someone was coated with CdS/CdTe ? My guess is, they'd become a human solar cell. Powers would include being able to create incredibly high voltages and electric shocks while in direct sunlight, and the reverse, being able to produce blinding amounts of light if, say, the person would grab onto some high voltage power lines. The person could decide to be either a super hero or villain depending on other issues in the origin story, but it would be strange and ironic for the person to become a super villain, since their powers would be so earth friendly. |

I'd ask them to run my air conditioner in the summer. Of course, they'd probably end up retarded from the CdS/CdTe, but when does that ever happen in superhero lore?
