New RC Stuart Sightings Yet?
Rumor has it that a "repaint" version of the RC Stuart has been showing up at Wal-Marts elsewhere in the country. The new version sports weathered "tan" paint scheme plus corrected wiring for right/left steering and a sound volume knob on the turret. Price is reportedly the same as last year at just under $150.
I have also been scouting Sam's Club - still no M8 Stuarts that were rumoured, only "pimped" Escalades with no working doors. Someone tell New Bright they blew it by leaving Joe owners out of their market this year. Although my team would NOT ride in an SUV with "spinners" and a cargo area full of speakers. No room for white tigers!
Re: New RC Stuart Sightings Yet?
BTW,
Stuarts are still 27MHz, so no "new" frequency. You would think sticking a 49MHz chipset in the new run would not have been an issue...also, the decals/markings are precisely the same as last year's green(er) tanks.
Sale On New RC Stuarts
Most area Wal-Marts that I have been to recently are clearing out the R/C Stuart for anywhere between $60.00 to $100.00.
