New Recruit / Member Invite Policy
To become a member of the Avengers:
(1) MINIMUM 46th LEVEL RESTRICTION: To become a member of the Avengers in Faith, your main character must have reached a minumum of 46th level. NOTE: Even at this level you may be excluded from participating in many of the higher level raids and events that AIF groups and raids within.
(2) REQUIRED READING: Read the posts in the Required Reading section of our message board, including the Guild Charter, Raid Rules, Loot Rules, etc., and either agree with their contents, or express your concern / question about their contents in your membership application.
(3) NO CURRENT GUILD TAGS: You must be unguilded at the time you submit your membership application. NOTE: Because of our application review process, this might mean that you are unguilded for a lengthy period of time (a week or longer). We asked that you NOT have any guild tag, so we can be assured that you've "made peace" with the leaders of your former guild. We don't want other guilds to feel we are stealing their best and brightest members.
(4) MEMBERSHIP APPLICATION: You must complete a membership application form (see below), and eMail it to: nefarrio (at) hotmail(dot)com. [I didn't use standard email notation to prevent web crawlers from picking up my email address. Substitute @ and . for (at) and (dot).]
(5) PARTICIPATE IN THE GUILD CHAT CHANNEL: You really should participate in the aif:friends chat channel. This will help us to get to know one another. Heck, you might discover that AiF isn't what you're really seeking (or vice versa). We'd all rather make such discoveries earlier, rather than later.
(6) OBTAIN AIF SPONSORS: In order to be considered as an AiF recruit, you must obtain the support from two existing AiF members for the application process to proceed. The best way to achieve that is to group with us... a lot! Join our chat channel whenever you are in play (type /join AiF:friend), attend raids and guild events, and get to know our family better. While this process may take time, we find it to be the best process for ensuring only the highest calibur members are brought into our guild. Again, it's all about us getting to know each other. Once two members vouch for you, a trial membership may be extended to you. Your sponsors will vouch for you in this forum.
(7) TRIAL MEMBERSHIP: Once it is determined that you are to be considered as an AiF recruit, you will be granted an invite into the guild, and will receive a tag. Rights to the private forums of the message board will be granted. This period is crucial to your full acceptance into AiF. It is during this time that all members of AiF will be watching over you, trying to determine your fit with the guild.
(8) ATTEND TWO RAIDS: During your trial period, you must demonstrate a willingness and interest to participate with Avengers by joining us on two (2) guild raids. Such events are scheduled on this message board in the events forum; RSVP and sign-up for any one of them.The minimum time for trial membership is four weeks from the time of tagging.
(9) GUILD APPROVAL: At the end of the trial period, a vote in a full members only forum will be taken. Full membership will be granted or denied, or the trial membership will be extended. In the latter two cases, we will endeavor to communicate to you the reasons for the decision.
