New here, thank you!
Thank you all for such a warm, welcome! It was mostly received in much needed prayers for my stepfather, and he's home, thank you all so much! Mom also thanks you from the bottom of her heart.
I had met Shadeaux, and conversed with her, over the past month or two, and she's such a delight. I had mentioned that I wished a place like this existed - then wouldn't you know, you do exist!
I have spent much time since I was a high school student studying every religion I could get my hands on, and traced much back to a few common roots. It's been a wonderful trip, and now new friends to discuss things with, I love it!
I'm on a path of healing, and spirituality. I had long let things go dormant, I was once a Priestess, when I left Oklahoma, and went on my art and writing quest. When the prayers and spells were being done for my stepfather, I raised the circle like the old days, and boy was there a lot of energy to direct (and someone left me some energy, thank you!) to my stepfather, I was rather amazed, so much prayer and spell energy, words fail me, I will have to draw the experience. Blew all the old pathways open again, like I had never left the practice. I realized what I had been wasting, and promised to stop casting pearls before swine.
I also suffer a few chronic illnesses, but we shall see if perhaps this healer, not on her own anymore, can be healed.
Thank you, and Blessed be!
Julie

Raining in S. Cali!!
So, while I was posting this topic, it started pouring down rain, lol! It hardly ever rains, and I had forgotten to water my poor plant, so it's had more than enough for a few days now.
After such a rough week, this is such a nice second, to finally meeting you all.

Welcome, once again,Julie. This place is pretty amazing. We have so many people, on so many paths, yet everyone has found a way to come together here.
You do have to have a bit of a warped sense of humour around this bunch. but,it's all good. Most of them don't bite, and I'm sure the ones that do are up to date on thier shots.

Hiya!
Hello, Itty, nice to see you over here, too! I don't think I need that drop cloth, but thanks for the thought, lol.
Rough week, but I made it through, so that will do.
I'll get a siggy up soon.
My name is Julie, so you can call me Julie, or Abs, like "Babs" bunny, lol.
Have a great week, all!

Re: Hiya!
Welcome, Julie! I'm Shad's sister, and Iris' mom (and Draconis' MIL). We're a pretty lively and supportive bunch around here, which is why I continue to hang out. I've met some cool folks here and some I've grown very close to (like our own resident Momma Cat - Narshaadha, and G-Angel just to name two).
Walking our own respective paths doesn't seem quite so tough sometimes when we meet others who are walking also.
I look forward to reading your posts, and I'm glad that your stepdad is home now.
Hugs to all!
