Skill
Skills ratings run from 4 to 18 for Aes Sedai, and from 1 to 15 in Asha'man.
1 (one): most unskilled. Cannot even grasp the Power at will.
2 (two): beginning to master seizing the Power and releasing it.
3 (three): can easily grab the Power and hold it for extended periods of time.
4 (four): most elementary of abilities now are within your grasp. Very light channeling, no more than one weave. Easily disrupted.
5 (five): beginning to have something approaching true control. Beginner skill weaves, weaving capacity one thread.
6 (six): improving steadily. Beginner skill, one thread capacity.
7 (seven): the average skill of a Novice or a Soldier in either Tower. Beginner skill, one thread.
8 (eight): the bottom of intermediatism. Higher level weaves are becoming easier for you, max capacity two threads.
9 (nine): common level of an Accepted or Dedicated. Intermediate; max threads two.
10 (ten): intermediate; max threads three.
11 (eleven): intermediate; max threads four.
12 (twelve): level of a high Accepted/Dedicated and low Asha'man. Expert level; max threads four.
13 (thirteen): low Aes Sedai level, common Asha'man level. Expert; max threads five.
14 (fourteen): Average Asha'man level. Expert; max threads five.
15 (fifteen): high Asha'man, common Aes Sedai. Expert; max threads five.
16 (sixteen): Very talented indeed, few attain this level of mastery. Master level, max threads six.
17 (Seventeen): only a lot of experience will get one this far. Master level; max threads seven.
18 (eighteen): Only a woman's finesse could reach so high, putting you on a level with the Chosen themselves. Master level; max threads eight.
