Opening Lines of Communication
((OOC: Sorry if this is inappropriate since I'm not a member, but Captain Valor is an ally of some of the Project and this seemed the best place to put something like this.))
Cap peers at the monitor of the computer on his desk in the Guardtower, still privately baffled by the whole notion of instant online communication. It is at times like this where he feels out of place -- a curiosity from the 1940s displaced in the 21st century.
He shakes his head. He'll adapt, and this is hardly a time for self-pity. Ascendant's idea has a lot of merit, and he needs to get the word out. With that in mind, he begins to type...

To the Leaders of Project: Rebirth,
I hope this finds you well and your members in good health and spirits. For those who don't know me, I am Captain Valor, the leader of Guardian Force and an aquaintance of a number of your members. It was Cobalt Sentinel who gave me the email address to use, so here I go.
After the Rikti scare at the party of King's Row the other night, Ascendant approached me to talk about an issue we'd been discussing earlier. The possibility of sneak attacks like happened there raises the notion that we all might increase our overall effectiveness by pooling the resources of the various supergroups in the city. What I mean is, hopefully we can coordinate and share information, working together in our common cause of defending this city and its people from those who would do them harm.
To that end, Ascendant proposed the notion of a weekly meeting between the leaders of the various groups in the city to compare notes and see what we can do to combine our efforts. I've already spoken to a number of representatives of various groups and so far all have been interested in this. I am aware of the possibility of ego and style clashes here, but I also am firm in the belief that the benefits far outweigh the headaches.
The exact date and time of these meetings has yet to be ironed out until we know more of the various schedules and can come up with something most of us can work with. The place has been set as the interior of the Freedom Corps HQ in Galaxy City -- it's usually quiet in there, and private enough that we should be able to meet with a minimum of fuss.
