PRESIDENT TALAT SAYS IT IS A DUTY OF MANKIND TO BREAK THE INTERNATIONAL ISOLATION OF THE TURKISH CYPRIOT PEOPLE

President Mehmet Ali Talat has called on the international community to remove the international isolation on the Turkish Cypriot People, including the embargoes imposed on it and sporting embargoes.

The President received a group of sportsmen and managers today who are in the Republic to attend the International Doctor Fazil Kucuk Sports Games.

During the visit, President Talat stressed that it is a duty of the mankind to break the isolation on sports as such oppression and isolation imposed on the Turkish Cypriot People has nothing to do with humanity.

Pointing out that the Greek Cypriot Side has no tendency towards removing the international isolation of the Turkish Cypriot People, Mr Talat said the world should now say ‘no more’ and work towards lifting the isolation.

He said the Turkish Cypriot People’s demand for the removal of its international isolation on international sports activities is a legitimate one as sports has no connection with politics.

‘The Turkish Cypriot youth has the right to do sports just as they have the right of living, and this should not be ignored’ the President added.

I dont think they want to ruin this. Its the international community forcing the Turkish Cypriots to reach out and unite with Cyprus.

Damn you all, cant you just leave the TC's live it up and get rich on their own. What you all want a hand out from them ? leave them alone to walk around with their golden shoes .
