Platinum, Silver, Gold, Brass, Copper, and Marcasite!
PLATINUM:
Platinum is a silvery grat metal found in North America, Brazil, and Germany. It is an expensive, and rare mineral. It is used by medical science as a replacement for bone, since its in harmony with the body and will not re-act chemically with it. Generally considered beneficial for people who experience excess in their lives. It slows things down and allows you to take greater control. Helps keep hormonal and chemical levels balanced, and aids in transmisson of nerve impulses, and may make the heart and circulatory system more efficient.
SILVER:
Excellent for mental, emotional, and physical releasing, and cleansing. Works with mind/emotions to see overview. Works to help with emotional balance and patience. Like the moons energy it has gentle, cool, and a soothing effect. Thus, it reduces imflamation, fever, and, nervous system stress. It is best with gentler cooler colered gemstones. It can work with the pituatary gland and upper energy centers. It is yin energy. Wear the metal that you are attracted to. Works best as a communicator, and should be only worn when "it feel right". Benifits circulation and detoxifies the blood. Helps the body recognize unbalances, or high levels of hormonal and chemicals more readily, enabling them to be naturally corrected. It can help with the lungs and throat irritation by pollutants and other impurities in the air. Improves memory, irrational fears, and emotional imbalance. Also aids in verbal and representational communication. Helps balance the function of sides of the plane. Can be worn on a belt buckle to improve fertility. Silver setting: Silver is ruled by the moon a femminine energy, and therefore imparts a softened, less assirtive emotional energy to crystals and minerals that are mounted in them.
GOLD: Excellent all purpose, high level gem amplifier and electric conductor, especially on the Solar-plexus and Heart Chakras. It can strengthen meridians, nervous systems, and digestion. Positivly charged with warm Sun Energy. Often worn by teachers/healers especially after much self healing(addictions, childhood, etc...). Attracts prosperity, stores and amplifies thoughts, emotions(greed too!) It is a yang energy.
PINK GOLD= Gold + Copper: lovingness, warmth, spirituality. Amplifies gem affects.
WHITE GOLD= Combines Sun and Moon energys, thus higher conductor and amplifier. Its a re-gererator helping one to renew themselves. Works on the physical, mental, and spiritual planes. It benefits the nervous system and improves the body in poor assumption of food. It benefits the circulatory system and blood. Helps control hormonal and chemical imbalances. Can be of great importance to individuals with de-generative dis-ease, such as heart dis-ease or arthritis. Helps the brain work efficently. Works well with crystals and gems. Can be used in conjunction with copper & silver, which aid in boosting its abilities in specific instances.
GOLD SETTINGS: Gold is ruled by the sun, a masculine energy, and therefore imparts a more assertive energy to crystals and minerals it is mounted in.
BRASS:
Flattens and grounds energy(poor contuctor). Not generally used in healing. Can dull or block energy. May be used as a shield, reducing sensitivity and awareness. A common Alloy by combining Copper and Zinc. Recommended by healers as helpful to people who have unusually high levels of metal in their bloodstreams, since it is a good blood cleanser and dtoxifier. Also used for hair-loss.
COPPER:

MARCASITE:
Silvery grey metallic, is iron ore which is iron oxide(like hemitite). Marcasite is iron sulfide, one of the most grounding of all stones. It is associated with the root chakra. Condenses scatteredness, fuzziness, into mental clarity, concentration, memory, practicality, helps study, bookkeeping, detail work, sound sleep, confidence, willpower, and boldness. Egyptians used it also to calm hysteria and anxiety. It has a yang energy. Helps us to adjust to being physical. It is a good cleanser for the spleen and the blood. Can deflect, and re-groups after jet lag, stress, birth and anesthsia.
