 Proposal for RS forum
G'day Aadmin and fellow forumites,

After the series of unfortunate events in dealing with the Serbia forum, in which another forum memeber has decided to run it on his own powerplay - it has forced me to revive the long forgotten and neglected Republika Srpska forum and openly boycott the Serbia forum.

As of now my primary aim is the revival of this forum. And hopefully by the end of the year it will match the popularity of such forums as the Greece, Turkey, Bosnia, Romania, Bulgaria Serbia etc.
Although quality will be regarded more over quantity, 10 000 is the number which I would like to see before the start of the Christmas break.

This offcourse will be a long process and I dont expect it to go off in a matter of weeks. It will take time.

Here are a few suggestions,

- Posts will be balanced between English and Serbian. This way it can attract both native and diaspora users (something which the Serbia forum doesnt really accomodate)

- General posts concerning political, social, cultural posts will be grouped together as 'Official Topics' - ie Sport - Official Topic

- Topics should be primarily dealing with the Serb republic but also includes Serbia, Republika Srpska Krajina, Kosovo i Metohija, Serb diaspora and Serb related material in general

- Opposing view points are welcomed and encouraged but should remain within the suggested outlines of the entire Illyria community - no swearing, insults etc.

- Certain contraverisal issues dealing with the Serb republic and its people WILL NOT be taken advantage of, or be mocked. There will be ZERO tolerance dealing with vilification of the Serb republic and its people.

- The number of moderators be reduced to two or three. Not because I have anything against the current mods, but that will it will be easier to monitor who did what...and when. Myself included, Mapko would be the other, and if Aadmin see's it neccessary, a third mod of his choosing. (if users such as vjack, highduke, spatacus can be given the chance to run their own forum, then I should be able to try and manage the RS forum, and unlike them I will actually do a proper job of it :b

I like your ambitious plan with one reservation towards the number of mos but as always I am flexible as long as logic allows it.

I agree with Bob... I can understand a greater number of mods existing for the home forums... but for little subforums like this, do we really need this many?

I wouldn't mind being taken off as a mod in forums such as Dalmatia or so forth either... I hardly visit those forums, just like everyone else
