Questions for Vlachs in Greece
Hello. I am a Greek and have always wanted to learn more bout the Vlachs.

I have some questions for any Greek Vlachs on these forums:

1. Do you consider yourselfs to be Greek?

2. Do you love Greece like any other Greek?

3. Do you belive you have any relations to the ancient Greeks(or Thracians who may have been Greek)

4. How do you feel about not being recognized as a minority in Greece?

Sorry if I come across as ignorant in any of these questions but I have never talked to any Vlachs before and I really want to know more about your people.

Well thanks.

Not totally what I expected though. I would have thought that people who were part of the Hellenistic world for thousands of years now and have lived in Greece for centuries would have come to treat Greece as their homeland and love Greece since it is their country.

I am Greek and would embrace Greek Vlachs as brothers since they have been in Greece for so long. I am not mad or anything but just a bit dissapointed.:(

Oops, i only saw 'vlah' not 'greek vlah'.... muahaha
I am 1/32 'greek vlah', the rest of 31/32 is 'daco vlah' lol

What's the deal about vlachs in Greece? I'm Vlach living in Serbia. My Father is originally Vlach from Greece. You claim that we are Greeks, which I support, I feel the same way, however, it never helps me to get greek visa, let alone the citizenship. If Greeks want us for themselves they shoul start to act accordingly!
