Recording in Austin Texas
hey guys...
so i just wanted to update you on the new record...
for the past few days mark addison and myself have been sitting down in the studio doing what is called pre-production.
basicly that means that i have been singing to marks for several hours a day. we are just taking some time to listen to the songs so he can have a chance to absorb them and get some ideas. he is also giving me a ton of pointers which are invaluable.
the big thing we are working on right now is my lyrics, because he feels like im kind of holding back. whick i agree with. sometimes i get scared to write certain things because i am afraid someone will hear the song and get offended if it is about them. but as he put it i am kind of a weird guy and funny, but my music is so serious. so we are going to try to sqeeze a little bit of my sarcasim and personality into some of the songs...
i guess i need to be edgier and piss some people off...
i dont know????
