Re-inspired
After having gotten side-tracked by seeking a new man in my life, I'm back on-track with what I "know" I really need right now. Which is having the time to do all the things I want and need to do for myself. I let my interests sit on the shelf too long, I tend to do that when I begin a new relationship.
So, after much emotional crap that I had to wade through to get back to where I belong at this point in time, I have become re-inspired to move forward in my Tarot studies, and to soon begin studying to become a Hypnotherapist.
I feel empowered by having made concrete decisions for the direction I want my life to go.

I hear ya, Astara.......I always did the same thing - set aside the real me so I could fit better with someone I thought I couldn't live without. Glad you are back on track.

Re: Re-inspired
Wow, thanks everyone!
Narshaadha, I was brought up in old school thinking, that a woman was here to "please a man", and "bear his children". I didn't realize how far that had sunken in even though I never felt that was my reason for being. Thank goddess that way of thinking is doesn't prevail any longer.
Lauriex, was it the Tarot and Hypnotherapy studies you were interested in? I'll be more than happy to share all that I do.
Since I started drawing a card a day for us here, I decided to do the same for another board, using different decks. On mornings when I am very tired, I post about the Goddess Tarot card, so I don't have to type so much. I was going to do that today but I had a feeling I should draw a card from the Spiral Tarot for that board.
I now have four decks on my desk, and I draw a card for simple little questions now and then throughout the day.

Re: Re-inspired
It's now been more than two months that I've been posting the card of the day here, I am enjoying it immensely and expanding my knowlege of the Tarot everyday. As an assignment of the "Intuitive Tarot" course I took almost two years ago, I started a Tarot journal, one page for each card and writing my own impressions of the card without looking at the book meanings. I've started writing in it again, I leave the card out all day and just jot something down as it comes to me throughout the day.

Re: Re-inspired
I think many of us know how hard it is to read the cards for ourselves. I did a reading yesterday, and it told me my boyfriend was in jail, I of course didn't want to believe it, but it's true, he is in jail. So at least I wasn't shocked when I got a call tonight telling me that he was in jail, I almost said "I know" to the caller, but he wouldn't have understood how I knew.
I'm rather upset right now.
