Request for a friend...
Actually, for a friend's family--my dear friend Alan has a sister-in-law who's had leukemia for a little over three years. She is in the hospital right now and doesn't seem to be doing well; the doctors have found four blood clots--two in her lungs and two in her legs, I think. As I understand it, the medicine she takes to fight the leukemia is what is exacerbating this condition and they can't give her the clot-busting drugs because of the leukemia drugs.
She loves the Lord and is spiritually ready to go home, but her family needs her (she has a five year-old son). At this point, her prognosis isn't good...she needs a miracle to survive and I know that the whole family would appreciate your prayers.

Re: Request for a friend...
Just wanted to let ya know I've been praying for your friend...
At first it seems like what can my little voice do against such a big request, but then... this isn't remotely about ME, is it? (lol)
I pray cuz Jesus said to, and because I believe He hears us... no matter how big the request seems in my eyes.
Will you let us know how things progress??
I may go ahead and make an update thread and stick it in this forum... It'll boost us all to see how prayer changes things.
ttys,

Dear Holy Physician,
You are the greatest of all physicians and I come to You in prayer for the sister in law of Alan, a servant in Your Kingdom. Lord, make her feel Your healing peace and comfort her. Teach her doctors the ways of Your healing because You alone can make her complete again.
I pray Lord, for this family that they strengthen through sickness and praise in the revealing of Your will. Hold them and keep them all from fear. In Your Name I Pray, amen

Thank you all for praying...I have a small update, which I meant to post last week and just haven't had time. Judy came home from the hospital, so she is doing SOME better, but the situation is still not great. I'll post more when I get more details.
