For game boy color
This game is a 99.9% complete rip off of pokemon. There's 150 robots to collect and battle. The graphics are very close to the same as pokemon. Then the game is boring after about an hour.
Sound: The sound was just as pathetic as most other game boy games. 4/10
Graphics: Very, very similar to pokemon. It was obvious that they were jealous of Pokemon's success. 2/10
Gameplay: You go around town to town(just like in pokemon), you have things to catch the robots that you find(just like the pokeball in pokemon), the only difference was that instead of animals with buggy eyes like in pokemon they are robots. 2/10
Lasting appeal: If you don't fall asleep an hour into the game or find yourself thinking that you're playing pokemon, then you might be able to play this for about another hour. If you do play this game again, you must be either 1.very bored or 2.think that it is another game. 2/10
Overall: This game is obviously a complete rip off of pokemon with few very minor changes. One of the first things I noticed was that many of the buildings are the exact same design, I mean everything- the bookcase, the people, the beds, the couches- You go into the next house thinking there'll be something new but it's the exact same things. Then at the first you wonder what on earth were the people making this game thinking, then you'll wonder why everything doesn't make any sense. I give it an overall score of a 3/10 and this for no reason.
Ok, I gave this an overall average of a 3/10 because I don't like when companies will make games copying totally off of another game. But, again if you're a big time pokemon fan and you don't mind if they make a cheap imitation of pokemon, then you might like it(but you'll still find it confusing and pretty much stupid)

Ah yes....Robopon. Well, even if its a rip-off, I've heard its good for a RPG game. In which I', gonna get it and test the sucker out, laughing my butt off at all the ripoffs. I mean, catching em with a magnet, lol! I'll write a review on my forum also when I tinker with it for awhile.

It's not the worst game I've ever played(Rocky and Bullwinkle for snes was pretty bad ). It is pretty cool if you can actually find a way of getting into it. Why, I haven't even played the game since I wrote this review. Hmm.. I have Spring Break, maybe I should play it a bit...ahh, nevermind that would be a waste of my time no, just kidding, it can be pretty cool in some ways. Gotta catch em all, Robopon. I haven't caught one yet except for the one that was given to me.
