SSD and pain
Hello to all;
I have been suffering from chrinic pain for the last seven or eight years. I have applied for SSD. I also have been trying to get into a clinic and see if any doctor would operate. I have spinal stenosis, nerve root impingement and some lumbar problems. So far my own surgeon, U of M medical center and just yesterday Mayo clinic rejected me saying they could not improve my life with surgery.

So I am wondering if anyone here has a guess if they think this helps me or hurts me when it is time to get SSD? If filed in June and almost all of the information has been observed by the doctor who is to make the decision. I am not sure if a letter from Mayo saying "good luck on handline the pain" is going to help me.

I know Madridgalsings has experience in this area and I would appreciate any imput she could give to me.

In the meantime it is stay on the meds and find a way to deal with this horrible pain.

Thanks,
Tim
