Second Life
Okay, so I've found a new obsession. For those of you who spend a lot of time online, if you haven't already seen it, you *must* check out Second Life (secondlife.com). It's a virtual world. It's not a game really - you don't kill stuff, there's no plot - it's quite literally, a second life. You can create your avatar - customize it beyond belief, all the content is created by users - it's an amazing outlet for creativity. In addition, there are TONS of people there. I've made so many friends, found places to hang out, people to talk with. There aren't words really, to describe it. Check it out - it's amazing. It's free too! (They do ask for a credit card, but only to ensure you're over 18.)
