Fort Dix Targeted in Terror Plot
Six Men From Albania and Former Yugoslavia Arrested by Federal Authorities in N.J.
Federal authorities have arrested six New Jersey men for allegedly plotting a terrorist attack against the Fort Dix military base, senior FBI officials have confirmed.
The plot, reported this morning by New York's WNBC television and confirmed to the Washington Post by FBI officials, involved storming the base with automatic weapons and attempting to kill as many soldiers and other personnel as possible.
Officials from the U.S. Attorney's Office in Newark and the FBI in Philadelphia were planning a news conference in Camden this afternoon to discuss the case in more detail. A spokeswoman for the FBI in Philadelphia left a message on her voicemail telling callers that no information would be released until then.
The television station said the men were from Albania and the former Yugoslavia but had lived in the U.S. for several years. The suspects had been discussing the plot over the last year, and had gone as far conducting weapons training in the Pocono mountains, the television station reported.
Before settling on Fort Dix the group had scouted several other possible military targets, the station said.

Federal investigators last night arrested six ethnic Albanians who were plotting an armed attack to kill soldiers at Fort Dix, according to a law enforcement source.
Five of the men were arrested by FBI agents in Cherry Hill and another at a different location after members of the group allegedly attempted to buy automatic weapons to aid their conspiracy, said the source.
The men were lured into a secret meeting to purchase AK-47s from an arms dealer who was secretly cooperating with the FBI, according to another law enforcement source. Both sources requested anonymity because they were not authorized to speak about the arrests.
Several of the men were from the same family, and federal agents raided the suspects' homes, one of the sources said.
Spokesmen for the FBI and the U.S. Attorney's office could not be reached for comment early this morning.

They probably have nothing to do with Albania. Just converted Arabs the-like of Suart... Taken as child, sent to Saudi Arabia for "education". In anyhow they are the Serbs best friends. Cant you see they are dancing of joy right now. And secretly deep down inside Serbs wish USA to be attacked . They are probably sad the terrorists didnt blow up the base and kill some Americans? That way they shoot two birds with one stone.
Anything to put dirt on our names and make up for their shortcomings. Whatever, enjoy the ecstatic state you are in. Its only temporary.
Watch the news spread like wild-fire in serbian propaganda outlets.

I'm not sure all Serbs want America blown up. I do not think most people wish malicious harm to people they do not know. I think Serbia does wish the USA would mind it's own business in affairs that do not concern them. That's the extent of it.
If you want to keep the fantasy going because you choose to not recognize the Albanian terrorists, thats fine - but do not put a Serb in his place. Well leave the terrorism to you guys...

One is Jordanian, another Turkish. A third is American and the remaining three from Kosovo. But does an attack on a military base really classify as terrorism? Did the VT shootings qualify as such?
