My cousin, who loves to lecture me because she feels I'm stupid, was giving me a lecture how "modern" Greeks came from North Africa. Well I kinda phased out when she was giving me her explanation. Now I'm kinda curious, are today Greeks different? I actually work for some Greeks and one of them could pass for a Turks. My second question is do you think Illyrians were that much different then today Albanians? Has the Slavic invasion had an effect on Albania? Just questions, and I'm really hoping for some insightful responses.

Greeks come from the Congo.....but nowadays..they turned white..or pale...but they kept one anatomical part....from their nergroid..times ...and if your're a good boy...some greek might show you what that is... The modern Greeks are the descendants of ancient Greeks. They are as homogenous/heterogenous as their ancestors were ... and more importantly, they have preserved the identity and language of their predecessors, and they are therefore the heirs of ancient Greek culture. *Quote:* My second question is do you think Illyrians were that much different then today Albanians? Even in Slav speaking countries of the Balkans, the Slavs were a minority in numbers in many regions. The heaviest Slav impact is in the northern Balkans, especially Slavonija & Vojvodina. P:S Just as with the modern Greeks vs ancient Greeks, we're not the same as our ancestors. Changes occure.
