So what the hell is it?
Okay...just a quick little assessment here. What the hell is it? I've been getting sick since the day after Iris' wedding. And that makes me a little grouchy...I don't have time for this!
It's my unfavorite kind of crud...sinus infection, sore throat, croupy cough, headache, and this incredible tiredness. Damn! Don't feel good enough to do anything much, but too awake to go to bed. I can't just lay there...my mind starts taking me places I don't want to go to. Screw that!
The critical parent voice says, "Go to the doctor...you don't need to be spending time off work." The rebellious voice says, "ah, to hell with it....get over it." OMG, I just admitted to "the voices." That's it! My cover's blown...
It's the fever...yeah...that's it...
Maybe I should go to bed and just start all over again. Yeah, sounds like a plan

WHY? All they'll do is tell her it's a respiratory infection(which she already knows),and giver an anti-biotic(which wont do her much good).
Drink some cold tea,and rest.You'll feel a lot better after you've done both.

Poor, poor hillclimber. You have worn yourself out worrying and getting ready for the wedding, just like iris did, and now you are paying for it. Your resistance is down and you need to rebuild your immune system. Is that what the cold tea is for? And I hate to say this....please forgive me........but......you need to drink more water and less coffee until you are on the mend....(I'm so sorry....!)
Can you believe that this time last week I was there with you and shadeaux, gluing little ribbons and flower buds on bells, and chasing chickens? And just think - tomorrow it will be a week since we encountered the horror of TATER ROAD, and lived to see another day! And not only that, but JOSH encountered the horror of the two of us catterwawling (<--------can't spell it but that IS the word for what we were doing) new lyrics to an old George Thurgood song - and he lived to see another day too!!

Now come on, Deb...who ya talkin' to, here? Like I'm gonna give up coffee for WATER???
It's hard to believe that ALL that adventure was just last week, isn't it? I'm absolutely positive that I have NOT recovered from it, either. So...this weekend I'm planning to do only what I have to, and nothing more. Rest is on my agenda today and tomorrow. Well...I say that, but who knows what the weekend has in store for me? Already I have two difficulties going here:
1) Chip was in an accident yesterday when the company van was hit by someone who ran a red light (in a big damned truck)! He spent a couple hours in the hospital being checked out. They determined that he'd gotten a concussion and they ended up doing two EKG's on him because they said he had a mild heart attack...can you believe it? So...I got up early to make sure that he could be woke up. He says he's okay...just really sore.
2) I opened the door this morning to let Levi out, and Rosie took off! Damn, damn, damn, double-damn!!!
Now she's gonna either come back pregnant, or she's not gonna come back at all. I'm afraid she's gonna get hit! This sucks!!!!!! I had a feeling yesterday she was gonna leave...she resents Domino being here. Keep your fingers crossed I get my little kitty back, unharmed.

 YAYYYY!!! My son is SUCH the man!! He went outside yesterday and heard this little "meow"...and found my Rosie-bud under the house! So he went in the crawlspace and rescued her.

Call of the wild was just a litttle too much for Rosie-baby it sounds like.  for Daniel! He has a good heart.
Please give Chip a hug from me. If it rains it pours, right?
