The Deputy Headmistress/master?

McGonnagal has taken over, so who's gonna be her second in command, so to speak?

Snape I think we can leave out of the running.

Flitwick? He's a good canidate I think. Smart, great at charms. A solid teacher.

Or will McGonnagal quit teaching and now they need not only a new DADA teacher but a new Transfiguation teacher who could be Deputy?


Why must we wait to find out??

How about Firenze? He and Trelawney can't share the same position forever, right?

Or maybe McG doesn't know about Trelawney's "V" moment and she sacks her with pleasure, and Trelawney gets killed...or Imperiused...something BAD.

I bet McGonnagal knows more about the Order's business than we think.
After all, DD probably knew he could die at Volder's hands anytime. So why would he risk not sharing things with senior members of the order? McGonnagal must know why Treylawny is still there. That she made a prophecy that involves Harry and she must be protected.
