Spider-Man
OK, Ok by now EVERYBODY knows that FOX is bringing back Spider-Man in New episodes based on the Spider-Man Unlimited comic. My question is I haven read much spider-man since he split into, i think, 4 diffrent heros last year. So 'Tamer or any one else that know whats been goin' on please give me as much a summary as possible. Also, what do you think the fisrt episode of thenew show will be about? I think he finally finds Mary jane and marries her for real (as you may remember Spidey married a Mary Jane clone during the final season). p.s. don't mention it, 'Tamer. I just wanted to find a better board and yours seems ok (at least better than the Attitude HQ board).

Re: Spider-Man
Hmm, let's see. Since the four identities thing, they cancelled all the Spidey titles after a story where Green Goblin/ Norman Osborn finally went totally insane (We're talking hallucinating and foaming at the mouth here.). Then they started a 12 issue series that retold Spidey's origin and early adventures with modernizing and some small changes at the hands of John Byrne. This series basically just screwed up Spidey's history a little (like now the guy running the experiment that gave Spidey his powers was Doc Ock). After the first few issues of that series, they relaunched Amazing Spidey, Spectacular Spidey, and Peter Parker: Spider-Man as regular continuity books, and Spidey resumed his adventures after being inspired by an imposter who was filling in for him. They also launched Webspinners, a book that tells stories at different points in Spidey's past. That's about all I know about Spidey in the last couple years worth of comics. As for the new show, I don't think it has anything to do with the old Fox show. This new show isn't going to feature Spidey as we know him; it's going to have different Spideys of parallel universes if I'm not mistaken. That basically means they'll be giving us alternate versions of Spidey. Confusing as this is, I hope I cleared some of that up for you.

I mean it. But as you know, marvel Comics has a long history of confusing storyines. Like when Mageito de-aged, when X-Man left the alternate universe, when Heros Rebourn happened, even going back to the Secret Wars! the new show's is featring spideys from alternate universes? Just like the old series ended. I hope this incarnation of Spidey will be good. Unlike previous versions (like the live-action series they had in the 70's or 80's, they still show the re-runs on Sci-Fi channel).

Re: THANX
Well, I guess I was misinformed about Spider-Man Unlimited. Aparently, it is the Spider-man of this dimension and the earlier show, but he is in another dimension in a new costume that gives him new powers now.

Re: THANX
Does anyone know what is happening with the Spidey movie, if so post it on my Batman 5 message board; I have a Spider-Man section and a superhero section.
