Star Wars: Evolution
The senate has been crushed under the weight of its own corruption and promises of false hope for a better future. The underworld proved just how strong it could be by manipulating senators to do its bidding. From the ashes of the old senate a new power arises, an Empire, one bent on galactic domination and the supremacy of humans above all other species.
The Jedi have been banished from their once lofty perch as the guardians of peace, driven into hiding through false accusations levied against them. Many Jedi perished at the hands of a mysterious Dark Jedi and her apprentice, the rest now must fear for their lives. The once proud Jedi Council lay broken and destroyed. The few masters seek out people to train to strengthen their numbers, but the galaxy at large fears the repercussions of trusting a Jedi.
Meanwhile, a brave group of people, former politicians and leaders of industry, mothers and fathers, sons and daughters, and some of the remaining Jedi, have all banded together in resistance cells to fight the oppression of the vile Imperial machine. The formation of a new, fair, and noble Republic is their ultimate goal, and these freedom fighters are willing to give their very lives so that the galaxy can be free of the hatred and corruption it now knows.
It is up to you to decide who wins and who loses, what planets flee from the Empire and which are absorbed into their wicked plot, and if the galaxy will be free or if it will be controlled by the darkness of the Imperial war machine. Only you can decide if the Jedi will grow and prosper, or if the Dark Jedi will crush them and gain the secrets to resurrect the ancient Sith religion.
Will you join the just, or the wicked? Will you be an uncaring bounty hunter only out for yourself? Maybe you'll be a leader of your own company, trying to stear clear of the policies of the government. Perhaps you'll be one of the lucky ones who finds a Jedi Master to train them and you can restore nobility to the Jedi elite.
It is up to you.

The SWE Environment:
Star Wars Evolution is set in the Original Trilogy Era of Star Wars. We are based solely around original characters, choosing to consider ourselves the stars rather than relying on canon characters to drive stories. The backstory is one we spent a great deal of time and effort in constructing. Jedi and Sith, Corrupt Senators, Crime Lords, Bounty Hunters, and the noble sentient beings of the galaxy struggling to slip from the grip of the newly formed Empire are among the stars of our galaxy. The history is written, it is the future that is in question. You can choose any side to cast your lot with and become one of the stars.
About SWE:
Our goal, and hope is to grow into THE place for people to come and RPG in the Star Wars environ. We feel the best way to do this is via encouraging and coordinating with quality people and places.
Our staff has almost 20 years experience as role players via various online communities, and we’ve spent a great deal of time and effort studying what made other communities successful and others failures so we could avoid the mistakes and embrace the positives in order to make Star Wars Evolution among the best online.
