Taking care of Tammy....
Tammy had a problem with one of her medications, it had built up in her system, so dr. dropped her dosage, then she barely slept for weeks, she started sleeping a bit more each night this past week, but she has been having partial siezures since the wee hours of this morning, finaly sleeping now though.
Sometimes it takes all the energy I have to take care of her, and at times like these, when I am so worn out, I almost feel like letting her father completely back into my life the way he wants. When he was around, he was a big help with her, but I could never count on him being there, at least not until these past few months. If it wasn't for his mother, maybe I would let him back in, but I can't stand her. The last straw before I made my decision to leave the duplex...She had convinced him that Tammy was getting her siezure meds. too far apart(even though I told him NO, not the case, meds. are given per dr. instructions, equally spaced dosages), he got up one morning at 4:30 and gave her the medicine, that's two hours early! I don't usually show my anger immediately, but he got the full force of it that day. He sheepishly walked away and never mentioned it again, he knew it was wrong, but he did what the bitch told him to do, as he always does. Tammy does not like his mother, she often refused to go upstairs to visit her, and we were over at her dad's on friday, when his mother came downstairs, the look on Tammy's face was Not a happy one when she asked her if she wanted to upatairs. Tammy has always been a good judge of character, she must feel people's energy, she would walk up to some of our grungiest looking biker friends and grab them by the hand to take her for a walk, or hand them her cheerio bowl to fill for her, and of course they would, she never went near anyone that didn't have a heart of gold. (cheerios were the first food she could eat by herself, been her favorite snack ever since).
I need a nap now.

Re: Taking care of Tammy....
Tammy is at her dad's for the weekend. I needed a break lol! Really I did though, got bad problems each month, hurt so bad for a few days this week I had to lay on my heating pad often, couldn't even stand up straight for a few hours the other day. I managed to get Tammy's carpet shampooed yesterday. She spends a lot of time running her fingers over the carpet, self-stimulation. When her fingers turn black ya know it's time to clean the carpet!

Tammy is doing very well now, she is at a respite house this weekend. Good thing, I've had my heart broken today. I'll fill ya in on the details when I can stop crying about it.

Re: Taking care of Tammy....
I don't know if Tammy can feel a difference or not. I've always been careful to keep the smoke away from her, but of course just being in the same house with a smoker she is getting some.
I caught a very bad cold a month ago, it turned into bronchitis, I'm on antibiotics now, my fifth day, just starting to feel a bit better, and smoking as little as I can. I'm saving my Commit lozenges for the day I decide to quit smoking completely.
