 The Day After Tomorrow-global warming hits the big screen
I just found out about this,and frankly,it couldn't have come at a better time.Hollywood has decided to tackle the subject of global warming head on,and during an election year to boot.This website www.thedayaftertomorrow.com/index.php
will scare the pants off of you,but hopefully make everyone think about what they CAN do to at least keep thier loved ones safe.One of the things that is pointed out with great clarity,is that another ice age could occur,but not in the millions of years most people think it would take.If something disrupts the Gulf Stream,Europe could see drops in temperatures that would leave London looking like Siberia in a matter of months.This movie site provides links to other sites for information on how global warming is happening right now,and what could occur in the very near future.Check it out,it's worth the scare.www.commondreams.org/views04/0130-11.htm is one of the links telling of what the future may hold,if the Dubya's of the world have thier way.
