The Golden Basilica *The bells in the dome chimed joyfully, a deep sonorous sound filling the air. The wide doors of the Basilica, green with ornate golden carving had been flung wide open to allow the streams of guests arriving. The guests weren't all citizens of Elnador, they were rather strange. Some were tall, their faces ageless and filled with heart-stopping beauty, walking with grace. Others were small, long beards falling down the men's faces and tucked in their large belts, eyes fierce. And the rest were tall, proud men and women, not ageless as some of the guests but beautiful all the same.
Inside the church, the aisles were lined with strange flowers, the colors strange and unheard of. Intricately wrought candles lit the room, sending shadows flickering on the walls.
The guests seated themselves, waiting for the ceremony to begin, for today, the ancient houses of the Numenoreans and the Elves were going to be joined. Elessar, High King of Gondor and Arnor, was taking Elawen, White Lady of Rivendell and the Princess of the Golden Wood, as his wife.
Aragorn stood at the altar, suave and handsome in his ceremonial dress. Anduril hung by his side, the hilt polished. By him stood his best men..Legolas the archer, Gimli the dwarf and Faramir, Prince of Ithilien.
The conductor struck up his baton, the bride was coming. Everyone turned around to see her.
Preceded by her bridesmaids and flowergirl, all dressed in midnight blue with silver embroidery, Elawen was dressed in a silvery-white gown, subtely strung with white jewels that sparkled like stars as she walked. White and blue flowers crowned her veil, giving out a sweet smell. Her beautiful coppery-brown hair hung freely down her back and her dark eyes looked down at the floor in seeming docility, but a smile flickered along her mouth. Elrond led her upto the alter, where she raised her eyes to meet Aragorn's, a mischievous twinkle dancing in them.
They turned to Gandalf the Grey who was to lead them through the ceremony.*

*the Lady sitting in the middle of the crowd dressed in a dark red robe, a girdle of mithril around her waist and a single white diamond fastened above her brow crowning her dark hair looks at the couple and smiles... perfect... they must have been made for one another... how happy Elawen looks with her eyes shining like stars... and Aragorn... more handsome than ever with so much tenderness in his eyes as his bride is led towards him... and Faramir at his side... the expression on his face... it reminds the Lady of something... so like his brothers smile... that beloved smile...*

Re: The Golden Basilica
Gandalf: We are gathered here today for a momentous occasion in the history of Middle Earth. For the first time, the great houses of both Numenor and the Elves will unite. The lovely bride, Elawen, White Lady of Rivendell and Princess of the Golden Wood, represents the House of the Elves. The groom, Elessar, High King of Gondor and Arnor, represents the House of the Numenoreans.
I hope that this union will bring endless peace between the two houses and may any problems they have had in the past be forgotten.
(To Elessar and Elawen) Do each of you understand the importance of this marriage and what it could bring?
(Elessar and Elawen together) Yes, we completely understand.
Gandalf: Both Elessar and Elawen understand what this union may bring, not only to themselves, but to these two great houses as well.
*turns to face Elawen*
Do you Elawen, White Lady of Rivendell, Princess of the Golden Wood, take Elessar to be your husband, to have and to hold, in sickness and in health, for richer or poorer, till death do you part?
Elawen: I do.
Gandalf(faces Elessar): Do you Elessar, King of Gondor and Arnor, take Elawen to be your wife, to have and to hold, in sickness and in health, for richer or poorer, till death do you part?
Elessar: I do.
Gandalf: May I please have the ring?
*several minutes pass*
Gandalf: May I have the ring please?
*more time passes, still no ringbearer*

*Daisy watches on as Elfie, and Aragorn put their rings on each other's fingers. Then remembers her own wedding from not too long ago. She thinks of how great a celebration it was the whole day((that seemed like it would never end, and I don't think it ever did)). Daisy's eyes start to tear and then she sees Legolas looking at her.*

Re: The Golden Basilica
((Elrond led me down the aisle Silver.))
*Aragorn slipped the wedding band onto Elawen's finger. The ring was appealing in its simplicity. A sparkling emerald was set in the center of the gold band, the candlelight flickering in its depths. He looked into Elfie's eyes and said,*"With this ring, I thee wed."
*Elawen slipped on her wedding band onto Aragorn's finger, a gold band set with a sapphire that burnt with a life of its own. The band itself was engraved with intricate carvings. She looked up into Aragorn's eyes and smiling spoke,*
"With this ring, I thee wed."
Gandalf:*in a loud voice* By the powers invested by me, by the Powers that Be, I pronounce you man and wife. *The orchestra struck up the traditional tune as Aragorn proudly led his new wife out of the church. Outside stood a beautiful carriage. White with goldwork along its sides, its top down and great white-gold wheels, it was pulled by seven proud white horses with plumes at their heads. Footmen and grooms dressed in black livery with gold piping stood at the heads of the carriage.
When the newly weds reached the carriage, an announcer strode forth. In a loud voice he cried,*
"Your Majesties, Ladies and Gentlemen, People of Elnador... Elessar, The High King of Gondor and Arnor and his Queen, Elawen of Rivendell!!" *The crowds cheered as the carriage rolled away to the palace of the Dragon Queen. Behind them came the other nobles of the court, for tonight there was to much celebrating in the lands of Elnador, Gondor and Arnor.*

Daisy: *to Legolas* Shall we call upon our horse and carriage?
Legolas: Indeed. And the one's for the other part of the wedding party.
Daisy: Merry, and Meri can come with us, since we have a carriage for four people.
Legolas: Let's go ask them.
*Daisy and Legolas walk over to Meri, and Merry. Asks them to come along with them in the carriage. They accept, and walk with them back to the carriage. Daisy and Meri step in first, and then it was Merry and Legolas. Both couples on each side. The driver rode off to the reception and once there they got into the court where the reception was held. They met up with Elfie, and Aragorn. Talked for a bit, and then waited for the other guests to arrive.*

Lady:*to Aragorn* Congratulations, my Lord Elessar, your bride looks as beautiful as the rising sun today... she will be a perfect queen... may you be ever happy...
*turning to Elawen taking her hand* So now at last the day has come... I can't believe it... Queen of both Gondor and Arnor... Congratulations...
*after a short pause* I've got something for you... *handing Elawen the little package she's carried*
