The Primevial Atom...
Everyone knows about the Big Bang Theory and how the universe started. But I have a question, where did all that helium and hydrogen and metal that made up the primevial atom come from?!?!

Am off to Fangorn with young hobbits. Leaving Daisy to deal with Legolas. Love brother dearly but after five and a half centuries of listinging to talk about hair care and clothing, cannot take anymore. Got all shirty when I accused of gaining weight. Said *I* left *my* clothes in his bag. Did not mention that he always steals my tunics in name of "fashion" since begining to think he is pregnant.

The Primeval Atom was not alone,
Beyond our understanding and reach lie others,
All time is a fragment of a still greater whole,
Beyond our understanding and reach.
All the Universe is a fragment of a still greater whole,
Beyond our understanding,
We are a fragment of that whole,
Beyond.....
Shinsei (Roger Sheldon). 1982.
It is my feeling that the totality of our Universe comprises many, maybe myriads of primeval atoms. We have only been able to perceive one aspect of that creation and one aspect of one primeval atom, which which led to the creation of what we commonly know as our universe.
It is also my belief that because of our standpoint, we cannot know and explain everything. Maybe, one day when we are able to travel to the stars this will change somewhat. I do not think that we can prove or disprove the existence of other primeval atoms, other parallel universes or the like; neither can we know the real nature of the universe until we are able to see things from perspectives other than our own. We cannot understand the whole until we can see the whole.

In the begining, God created the heavens and the earth.

there, that's wut I believe. I honestly don't care much for the big bang. in my opinion, when things go bang, and blow up, they ... well, they blow up, not expand..lol

This is the point that none can really comprehend, yet it is most likely the solution to all of mankind's problems. The soul that takes the time to step outside itself discovers that what it simply cannot comprehend takes priority over the greatest of ideas; in certain circumstances in question, that is.

Because why should I believe it? Can you really prove its true? If you could, wouldn't you prove it to me, an unbeliever? You don't want to convert people? Proving the bible is true would be a good way to do that. But yet you can't.
Re: The Primevial Atom...
there are many things to prove the bible. First, I would like you to look around you. See how much happier the Christians are? Second, Archaeoligists(sp?) have found solid proof of King David's reign, written about in the bible. Third, I've seen many on TV who've gone to their graves fearful of what is to came. Yet if you look at the christians, they're happy because they know where they're going. They're going somewhere solid.
PS: please only post questions or anything involved here, my MSN chats are being watched by mum and dad and if they see it then I'll have to block you.

Re: The Primevial Atom...
So the archeaologists have found proof of Kind David's reign? All that means is that the Bible is a history book. No, i dont see how much happier the christians are. I look at people on the boards and i see christians and non-christians equally happy.
and btw, pm me about why.

Re: The Primevial Atom...
argh, I always hated these conversations with Christians; discussing the matter of one's beliefs, or backing them up is not even necessary dudes...that's why it's called belief, not trust, nor truth, but belief; which makes truth relatively correct for that single person.
There's a thing called 'theory' in which you shall just have to put faith into believing it or leave it alone.
I myself was brought up as a Christian; however I have to conclude that I do not believe in the bible nor God for that matter..not even in Heaven or Hell. Does that make me an unhappy person? No, definitly not. Wouldn I be happier if I believe that there were such things as God? Maybe, I wouldn't know; I don't think so though.
Does that make me an evil person; a heathen? yes; yet some persons dare to go further; pagan.
Just shows how stupid people are; if I don't believe in one God, I'm not gonna trade that for another God - paganism. That would be plain stupid.
Another thing is that many people will instantly say that I "will only believe it if I see it". Which is very untrue. In fact, it's not like a prinicple that if you don't believe in one thing that you can't see that counts for the other as well.
I myself have never seen God; might have been a reason why I don't believe in him. But even if so; they have never seen it, yet they believe it. Does that mkae them better? No. Different? Yes, they believe in something without having seen it. Does that meen they believe in everything they can't see? Not necessarily. Does that mean anyone else who doesn't believe in God; proclaiming the reason for that to be thef act that they have never seen it/him/her doesn't believe in anything that he can't see? Not necessarily.
And sorry to say this Michelle, but not all Christians are as happy as others. In fact, most of them are not. They are content with the fact that they believe; but most of them are very unhappy others do not believe in the same religion. It has brought more wars and deaths to this world then anything else. Religion always has been a point of strong convictions and prejudices that are not easily overruled. Fopr instance most Christians are very arrogant. Not saying you are, but most of them are, and trust me...I have seen many.
And of course there are the different aspects of Christianity and the different lines, like Protestant, or Lutheren. Though all of their beliefs are centered around the one same thing; they're all slightly different. And for that, many people have had to pay for with their lifes...(just look at your nearest history book)
Christianity and other Religions; hate - belief
Consider every other religion to be a line of Christianity; it all focuses on the same thing; belief and faith. Even if there would be nothing else in common with another religion; it all centers around belief. Belief in Budha, is no different then belief in the One God, they belief it in the same way. Sure, they have different ways of showing that, but that doesn't make them different. They all believe, yet slightly different then Chistians.
And as for the wind thing..that can be proven, but I'm not even interested in convincing anyone that it exists.
I'm not saying all Christians are like the ones I just described, lol, I wouldn't even care if there was only one. But sineI'm free to post my opinion, I just have, I'm finished now though
I just want to repeat before anyone else starts thinking something weird; I do not hate Christians or their beliefs. I simply don't believe in them myself.
Have I just made a lot of prejudices myself. Yes, and no. Depends on what you would define as a prejudice because most of these are based around actual facts that have or can be proven.
Do I think low of Christians? No, definitly not. Some of them are even quite respected by me. Many of them are not, but that relates to their own being as a person; not their belief.

They will be divided, father against son and son against father, mother against daughter and daughter against mother, mother-in-law against daughter-in-law and daughter-in law against mother-in-law."
Re: The Primevial Atom...
Michelle, for future reference, please, if you are going to turn things into religion, then at least be prepared for an argument. You did the same thing in the religion topic; gave short nonsensical answers to everything. Nambareth took a lot of time posting an opinion, and all you give in response is a number. If you cannot debate something, then do not involve yourself in it (no offense intended).

Re: The Primevial Atom...
Well, for your information, I gave just a *leetle* bit more then a few 'numbers'. And it took me HALF AN HOUR to find all of that!!
