The end of oil age. What's next?
you can guess what's the topic about.

To begin with, the oil prices a couple of years ago, rarely exceedeed 25-30$. When they did exceed 30$, the whole world went mad. Oil requires thousands of years to be created by nature, man only needs a few moments to make it disappear.

Today, we're experiencing the highest prices ever in oil history, well above 70$.

What will the future be?

Obviously, there is now a demand to discover and develop new fuels, such us hydrogen.

Apart from the prices that have caused many problems already, there's the problem of polution. To these, we might experience new problems, such as the gaps left bellow the ground due to the extraction of oil from them. Whether those are a potential risk of altering ground level (due eg to an earthquake) can't be clearly said. The hydrogen fuels aren't fully developed to be used commercially.
And ofcourse, what would be the price of less advanced countries to obtain some new fuel technology in order to keep up with evolution?

Ha... well, too many people are getting filthy rich with the oil industry (and the politics involved with it).... otherwise, we might have been using alternative resources, by now.

i guess so too.. it's amazing since prices are way too high..
for example i've heard that until a few days ago in countries like:
iran you paid 0,07$ per litre

and in the western world it's constantly above 1 $ per litre.
in the uk seems like 1,6-1,7$ and the U.S. must be above 2$ (not sure).
so high that there's social outcry. People renting stuff to buy some oil, or others stealing foreign.. reservoirs 8o
