The world according to Alex!
When you have kids with asperger's syndrome, you tend to get used to them talking at you rather than with you - a two way conversation is a rare thing for sure when it comes to communicating with Alex, my 12 yr old! However, amongst all the non stop car talk ( his obsession ), he tends to come out with some funny and sometimes insightful things - just wanted to share with you guys his latest 'wisdom' all said in one 'conversation', barely pausing for breath!
"Did you know, that as long as you never break any bones, you'll get to live to be 75?" well, thats a relief then!
" mummy, when i grow up, i want a really big house and a really fast car, but if i cant have that, then i'll have a caravan!" If only we were all so easily pleased! 
And my favourite - " Did you know, that when you die, you get taken out of your body, and given a makeover?" Couldn't have put it better myself - he does have a knack of telling it like it is!!

What a way to put it.That certainly shows a lot of insight,on his part.And when I get my makeover,I want electrolysis,so I never have to shave my legs,in the afterlife.
