Those days come every now and then...{P}{M}
OOC-yay for....whatevers gonna happen....LOL

IC
Snow would come soon enough...but the lithe fey with the bicolored eyes wanted to see it now. So she'd gone through to the wonderlands and now sat at the top of a cliff, her snow white pelt blending in perfectly with the pristine snow behind her.

So much had happened in her life. And now she wasn't sure she was still happy here. She just didn't know. She knew she wanted to move on...but to where? Maybe she'd just defect and be a lone wolf again. yeah...that sounded good. Be out on her own. No worries.

And deacon? yeah...she weanted him. But oh well. She was pretty sure by now she couldn;t get him. Not this wolf. She'd given up on him. he was just too cold, too distants. Oh well.

Wow...Deacon sure has built up a reputation now, hasn't he. *Sigh* What am I going to do with him. U.U

ic.

Snow wasn't the most pleasant thing to the golden brute, on the contrary it even, somewhat, annoyed him. It would get in everywhere, inbetween his gold and cream pelts, and he'd feel cold and lethargic. However, with every slow step, he continued his mindless stroll, trying to find....something. There's been a lot of talk about the past, and dreams of the future, and although the handsome Hellian could care less about this 'soul-searching' mombo-jombo, that same question was also really starting to tick him off. Why am I here? God! He could stab himself if the great creator had given him opposible thumbs. A cruel smirk coasted across the brute's cream coated maw, who cared if there was a purpose; he'd been living the here and now up until this point, why should his future matter now and unsettle him so. Besideds, the brute was wasting time on the unpredictible future, who's outcomes are just as random as the stars are scattered in the sky.

Great paws trekked clean tracks through the perpetually snow-capped heights. It was beautiful here, if the brute cared so such. He was arrogant, but not vain afterall. Nares flared to collect the chilled scents, and dark blue-violet lookers gave perfect vision, even when there was nothing to see. Auds would flinch at the faintest of sounds, and his soft pads, roughened by travel and brawls, carried him through the winter landscape, leaving arrogantly vivid prints in their wake. Deacon was sure the walking ball of desturction, now, wasn't he. Even such a beautiful place fell victim to his vandalism, and the brute cared for none of it; talk about heartless. But was he really, heartless? The last one to ask him that was.....

Vivid oculars narrowed at the thought. His expression was close to a human scoff, that gently turned into a light frown, with even the light wrinkling of his nasal passage. No matter, the past was the past, correct? Suddenly, traversial limbs paused, and sharp indigo hues spotted an abnormality against the snow. His eyes grew lazy having recognized the figure in and instant. Strangely enough, he didn't feel the same teasing pleasure he usually got when the brute laid eyes on the ivron fae. Maybe the cold was getting to him, it always did tend to make him feel lethargic and, god-forbid, weak. But that was just a fabrication of his mind, Deacon lacked none of his muscles when it got cold.

"It seems like....We meet everywhere..." Velveteen vocals sprouted from his chest cavity, the gently vibrations of his smooth baritone stern and cool as ever. Adding a chill to the already frosty atmosphere.

"It seems like....We meet everywhere..." The alphas rich vocals came out of nowhere, yet the fey didn't even bat an eye. "So it seems, Deacon." She turned at looked at him quietly. "It's been almost a year now, hasn't it? Since I joined I mean."

She looked away again, shrugging gracefully in her usual lithe manner. "I don't belong here, you know." There. It was out. And she, frankly, didn't care how the alpha would react. "I believe I do resign from the deadwood pack. Give everyone my regards, but i don't belong there." A wry smile tinged her lips. "And besides, I don't really do anything for you all anyways, and we all know it."

She watched the snow flakes come down. Down in the valley, they were tiny flakes that glittered. Up here they seemed to be giant flakes that obscured and blanketed. She rather liked it up here. Maybe she'd stay here. She'd seen a nice, likely spot a little ways away for a comfortable den to sleep in. She'd make that her home.

He listened, but barely comprehended. Damn the cold, sure was getting him good. His brow twitched slightly, not by her words or demeanor. No, he'd found out she was either this way or that. Either angsty or obnoxious, but certainly rude all around. The golden brute snorted softly, giving his great crown a shake as a fine smirk settled upon his off-white mug. It sounded like she was about to throw herself off that cliff, maybe if he stayed around long enough he'd get to see if his dear Angel could fly.

Slowly, very slowly, Deacon sat down. The first time in a while where he was actually relaxed enough to take a seat, instead of constantly alert and ready for a licking. The brute's full tassle swept the packed snowflow in smooth fanning arches and it seemed that his usual cocky self was taking a back seat to a more 'weathered' persona. The transformation even scared himself, and the demon beneath those fine indigo gems growled in distaste. He was actually beginning to hate himself...This pack was ruining him.

He chuckled lightly, rumbles shaking flakes form his gleaming amber coat. "Why the sudden change of mind, Angel? You were so eager on joining." Even at rest, the brute sounded dangerous, his large golden frame heavy on the snowscape, and his auds twisting back to insulate heat.

"I was eager to join." Her voice took on the tinge of a teasing tone. "That was when I though pack life had something to offer me, remember? I won our little game." She smiled lightly, relishing the fond memory. The game had been fun. Even her little tantrum at the end, the one that 'won' her, not the position of alphess, but a simple scout, had been...well, amusing, at least.

The snowflakes came heavier and faster, obscuring the distant plains, which had been barely visible to begin with. Deuce returned her attention to the snow, relishing the feel of the brisk wind against her silky fur. She took in a slow, deep breath, realizing she could smell deacon, the familiar musk that always made her heart race, even now.

I lost the original post >.< So this one isn't going to be as good. *Sigh*

As the snow grew thicker, Deacon gave his heavy winter coat another shake, seemingly reborn and standing brighter against the blank backdrop. Bold blue-violet hues stared at the fae's figure, void of known expression. Only a thin glint of cunning flickered as a malicious smirk ghosted across the Hellian's handsome mug. "You only won because I let you." Spoken like a true egotist, good job.

The golden brute started to approach the femme, snow crunching beneath his solid physique of hardened bone and fiber. Nares flared indolently, testing the chilled air and recognizing the faint scent of the ivron fae's, one that he had grown quite accustomed to. It would be strange to not have the marble she-wolf around, however, it would mean things would be much more quiet. Deacon looked at the landscape thought flurry dotted lashes, blinking every now and then to clean his furs. "What was it...that we decided you would get as your prize?" Rippling vocals held a hint of a tease, as if he was just trying to make casual conversation; but those who knew the brute knew he only spoke if there was a reason.

The fey heard the male approaching closer and stood, turning to face him. Oh well, why not tease before she left? Not that she didn't think she'd see him, but...she didn't think she'd see him. She smiled, a seductive purr in her voice as she spoke. "I believe the prize I won was the position of your alphess. If memory serves correctly, that is."

She arched an eyebrow gracefully. "Is being alpha so difficult that you forget so easilly, Deacon?" Again, the gentle teasing, the mark of the fey's true feeling of kinship towards another. If she weren't fond of him in some way, she would be acidic or straight out nasty to him. As she was to the now dead beta. As she was to the ebony pelted Raven. her tail wagged slightly as she faced the male.

A graceless snort was expelled from dark velvteen nares. Deacon was seemingly smirking, the same thuggish crook of the lips when anything amusing took his attention. The ivron fae had always proved amusing--no more, no less. The golden brute gave his thick coat another tossle, lazily looking at her with half-lidded blue-violet eyes. Despite his sleepy appearance, the amber beast's presence did not weaken one bit, the demon was ever looming.

He watched as she turned, cocking his head to one side in an arrogant manner and allowing the corners of his creamy muzzle to twitch in a small smile. He didn't know what got into the fae, wanting to leave and all. Well, that didn't matter to him, between her and the the death of that troublesome Beta, his numbers were dwindling, but so was the drama. Besides, he had a level headed Gamma, old, but firm. Perhaps Deacon should go back to his destructive wandering as well. He always did manage to cause more chaos alone, rather then caring about the members of his pack...--

Deacon shook his head softly, and scoffed at himself. Care, for his pack? Doubtful. What was the brute becoming, certainly less ballistic then when he had come in, that was certain. " I don't particularlly trouble myself with such small issues." His voice was flat, but there was a mischevious glint in those dark, swirling optics as if daring her to read between the lines. The brute says what he wants, its up to the fae to determine what he means. It's all part of the game.

A soft throaty laugh. "It seemed a wee more than a 'small' issue, My darling Deacon." She smiled, an impish light in her bi-hued optics. "Though I don't blame you for not wanting an alphess. I'm sure it's easier to conquer all those poor hearts when you're free from some femme's nagging voice." She arched an eyebrow, gently teasing, seduction the farthest thing from her mind.

She looked lazily at him, the tip of her tail still wagging. The snow fell silently, like a curtain of gossamer being drawn around the couple. She looked up and into the sky, admiring the way the flakes fell slowly, dancing their way gracefully through the sky. Softly, she spoke, her tone slightly more somber. "I think I may just miss you a bit, when I leave." She looked at him, her bicolored eyes trying to gage a reaction to her bold and over familiar statement.

A low, rumbling chuckle tickled the brute's vocals. It wasn't a relaxing laugh, it was cunning and from the shadows. Perhaps even from the same origins as the amber hued brute. Could any female tie him down? Deacon hadn't given any fae a ghost of a chance. Was he afraid? Hardly. There were no worthy contenders, and the male was far too infatuated with himself then give another the time of day. How loney it would seem, but only an egotist like Deacon can comprehend how beautiful the Lady Moon was when there were no destractions in the physical world.

"Oh?...And here I was thinking that you were leaving because of me." Smooth baritone plucked strands of mild amusement. Even if it were true, he wouldn't expect the ivron fae to admit it, but she had proved interesting thus far--would she carry his interest till the end.

A momant like this...
She shrugged gracefully. "Not because of you...but in spite of you perhaps." She watched him silently, bi-colored eyes unreadable. "I've always had..." Here she ahd to pause to choose the correct words. "A fondness for you, Deacon."

A fondness, Yes, that was a good way to describe it. She was fond of the golden male. Maybe overly fond. But oh well. She could do worse than the golden alpha. Truely.

She stood up and moved closer, seeking his side, seeking the warmth of his body next to hers. She closed her eyes, breathing in deeply of his familair spicy musk, the one that always set her heart to racing. Opening her eyes again, she looked him in the eyes, something in her eyes compelling, begging fior him to notice her simple affection, and to return it, even if it were only a moment.

Her words rolled over those sensitively acute auds, like chilled water off stone. The coarse winter winds played off the brute's golden mane, the warm summer breeze off gleaming praries. A possible notation of home? Perhaps, but plains wolves were a thing of the past, however it would explain the Hellian's outstanding size, and strangely colored pelt.

The whites of his blue-violet oculars peered at the ivron fae, as if through a picture frame--as if for entertainment purposes only. Something he would turn away from once it ceased to amuse him. Deacon did not shide however, he felt her pelt, close and carassing against his own, just barely. A wry smile, very faint, made hard pressed librums falter. A spark of mischief was introduced through those undaunting lens. There was no shame in the brutes gaze, he glanced at her as his will.

A cruel smile slowly crawled across his handsome mug, that same old arrogance making him stand as a beacon in the wintery atmosphere. A soft snort sent a flurry of snow flakes from the brute's sharpened muzzle as his great crown twisted over to pin the fae with those demonic indigo orbs, with almost a hint of...warmth? Not likely--Must have been something else. "Fondness..." The brute repeated, pensively. "...You...amuse me."

"amuse? well....It's more than I was expecting, honestly." And it was. She'd never even expected him to even take her into his pack, let alone make it like...home.

And deadwood had been home to her, too. At least until the old wanderlust had taken the silken fae again. The wanderlust came and went as it pleased, but so often it was there...and it had ruturned, reminding the fey that she was truely meant ot be a loner, meant to be by herself since her beloved sister had died.

Sunrise, sunset...and so swiftly flew the days...She nuzzled the brutes shoulder gently, not demanding anything, just wanting to be with him for a few last moments before she left. if only things had been different, perhaps she'd have stayed. but it wasn't meant to be. Too bad...so sad.

Those piercing indigo orbs narrowed into thin slits. He wasn't a fan of such closeness, such...'affection'. A slow rumbling growl was bubbling within the brute's wide cream-coated chest, however, Deacon somehow managed to turn the grumble into a casual snort.

Nares flared softly, taking in the femme's scent. The flurry of snowflakes were getting on his nerves. Too log have they freely gotten caught in the brute's lashes, and he having to blink so many times to dislodge them. He shifted slightly, away from the snowy fae, nipping at the tip of her ear--gently for once. Who knew the caramel brute was capable of such a notion. A ghost of grin coasted across the Hellian's sharp muzzle, he having turned around completely, and had started to head for safer havens. The brute remembered passing a cave on the way up, since the snow was not in Deacon's good graces at the moment he planned on passing the storm within its rocky confines, rather then foolishly blunder through the coming storm.

"Well then..you will be missed.." There was a hint of wistful sorrow, but that quickly washed away by the slight dimming of blue-violet occulars. He stared at the ivron fae. "Not by me, of course." Smooth vocals added casually. A sly grin taking over the brute's handsome features, same aroggant Deacon--that loveable brute. A slide of mischief crossed those smokey lenses, before the brute started his way back down the pass, that luxuriously thick golden tassle swinging proudly behind him.

Deuce watched the male go, then grinned and followed. As he rounded a bend, she spotted the perfect spot for her intented ambush. As the golden male neared the snowdrift, the silken fey pounced, tumbling both into the snow.

She growled playfully, standing over the male. "Is that all? Just 'I'll be missed..and not by you.'?" She grinned crookedly, her tail wagging, her all too seductive scent rolling off her in gentle waves. "I'm sure there has to be more to it than that, my Darling Deacon."

It wasn't exactly a blind spot, but Deacon had a vision of saying his parting bit and moving on back for shealter. It wasn't until seconds before collison where the amber brute whirled about and tumbled to the icy floor. Muzzle wrinkled instinctively, flashing awfully healthy gums and arching ivrons.

Needless to say Deacon didn't enjoy the view from below, but amazingly the amber brute stayed put. A dark glint ghosted across those smoldering indigo lenses, as he leered up at the snowy fae. " My, my. So bold. I never knew you liked it like this."

The words rolled so comfortably from the brute's soft baritone. Vocals were slightly husky, making his appear, at least sound, gentle enough. However, the kindling flame behind those piercing optics were not as forgiving.

Deuce grinned crookedly, her tail wagging. "You would have known if you'd ever have given me a chance. Good spirits know I've hinted at it enough." She nuzzled his neck, lightly nibbling at his jaw line, before getting off of him, and turning to walk away.

She glanced over her shoulder, invitation written clearly in her eyes and posture. "I know of a cave nearby...if you'd like." Her voice was soft...not quite hesitant, not quite demanding. Just...stating what she wanted as simply as she could, without ever quite coming out and saying, 'look you big brute, I want you and I want you now.' Such was not the fey's way.

A rough growl tumbled from his vocal box at the fae's nibbling. Deacon bounced back to his feet the first chance he got. The ground wasn't somewhere he liked too much. That slow, luxuriously evil grin darkened the brute's handsome features as shameless eyes dashed across the fae's ivron pelt. He was a creature of New Hell, not just a guardian of the gate but also the monster that dwelled within.

With angonizingly slow steps, Deacon's great paws hammered across the tundra, the earth seemingly sent quirvering in their wake. A darkness swam across his already deep irises, and now they seemed completely blocked from light. This fae was certainly digging herself a deep hole. That sly grin flashed the caramal brute's enchanting ivron crescents. "It's always nice to get the things we can never have, isn't it...?" He asked casually, finally coming up beside her, and continued walking--continously moving forward.

There was a more pronounced strut in the brute's step, spring had yet to highten his vitality, but nature's laws had always been so boring. "Lead the way now." He interjected jerking his head to the path before them. The scent of a storm was on the tip of his nostrils, but not only that, he quite frankly would enjoy the few from behind.

The lithe fey grinned crookedly at the male's words, her step taking on a bit of a bounce, a sort of happiness that hadn't existed in quite a while. She took the lead, her tail swaying gently as she walked, a strut in her steps that spoke of the mounting excitement she was feeling.

She glanced over her shoulder, her eyes glittering with the lust that she held for the golden brute, then she resumed looking forward as the duo neared the cave the fey had spoken of. She nudged aside the pine branches that hid the entrance, and stepped inside, turning around to see if the brute had followed her after all.

Her scent was heavy in this cave, as it should be since this was where she'd been denning the past few weeks, doing her best to avoid Jorn and the others. Now she didn't have to worry about jorn or the others, since she was technically on her own now. Well, except for the fact she was about to share her cave with the one brute she craved most.

His great golden crown cocked to the side, watching the fae's furry tassel dance for him. A rumbling chuckle fed itself into the hollows of the brute's charmingly smooth vocals. Other then that, he remained silent.

Upon reaching the cave those velvety nares were tackled by the fae's overwhelming scent. He felt lethargic upon enternce. Eye-lids drooped to half mast, as a cruel smile peeled away at the brute's cream-coated maw. That rouge tongue tumbled from his powerful jowls, and Deacon slowly peered around the cozy area. Just enough space to fit two wolves, with room to spare.

Since stepping into the small cavern, Deacon didn't stop moving. He made a straight path toward the irvon fae. She had been really asking for the golden brute, quite obviously. Deacon hadn't thought much of it, the idea of him denning with someone was...ludicrous. He's had ruts, but only one everlasting lover--and that was the night and everything that surrounded the wilderness when darkness unfolds. It made the brute's blood rush, and the feeling of a sexual high was only second to the feeling of running with his Lady Moon.

But this, would be amusing. The brute delibrately rubbed up against the fae, making sure that he was pressing rather roughly against her. Those dangerous jaws parted and thick vocals, slightly husky, rapped against her eardrums. Deacon's hadn't placed his head too far from the fae's auds, so that his voice didn't have to go up above a mere whisper. Lids lazily caressed his bright and swirling occulars as he spoke languidly. "I like it here...

Madness comes and madness goes....
Deuce's heart leapt into her chest as Deacon made his way straight to her side, her heart racing rapidly. Even though this was what she'd wanted, she couldn't believe this was happening so soon, so easily. He pressed agaisnt her, and she pressed back, nuzzling him slowly.

His soft whisper came in her ear and she took in a soft breath, her breathing already quick. She smiled slowly, and rubbed against him in responce. If she'd been a cat, she'd be purring, yet...the look in her eyes was most definately akin to a purr, the soft, contented smile that made it very obvious what the fey had in mind.
