Today I am Thankfull for...
Have you ever had those days where you are just SOOOOOOOO overwhelmed and that silver lining is a nasty grey color you just cant see? In this thread, each day, take a second to list just ONE thing your thankfull for as long as its positive (so no you cant post your thankfull for the beer industry ) and embrace it. It is your blessings and the powers that be feel you worthy of it!
This will start our day out with at least one positive in our life!!
Today, I am thankfull for my sight.

The friends I have who never fail to lift my spirits and help me through the difficult things facing me. They never fail to bring the smile back to my face and remind me that they care.

today im thankfull for kind strangers ... i was given a humidifier at a church rummage flea market like thing for the baby...winters doing a number on her, i only had 4 dollars to give them....for four dollars they got together 3 bags of clothes a bag of childrens books a little chair for punkin, a toy for each child and a humidifier. I was open and said im not christian whe i was invited to church n these two little old ladies said so your a mommy, and mommys of any religion want to do things for their babies but cant always if you want to pay us back, bring in your hand me downs Im sure you have a truckload (and I do! lol)...I only went to see if they had a humidifier! I was so touched by these ladies open acceptance of my path, one even commented that she knows a few witches and they are some of the most remarkable people she has had the pleasure of meeting. I was moved to tears

family...even those who are not here with me now. All of them have had a little to do with who I am today.
Yesterday, Dec. 5th, was the anniversary of my grandmother's birthday...a truly remarkable lady. While I always think of her, it's especially so on the 5th. She passed to me my stubbornness (thankfully), my helping spirit, my need to try to help heal others, and a whole lot of persistence and tolerance. Not to mention that she was a wonderful cook, and she taught me.

 awwww, i just noticed my title. who gave that to me? it makes me feel warm all over. thank you! oh, i guess today i am thankful for whoever gave me that beautiful title!
thanks for the tips, gaia, i especially like the ignorance is bliss one. the hum hum thing....isn't that done with your fingers in your ears? if not then i guess i'm doing it wrong!!

.....the fact that my 11yr old has finally memorised the four lines he has for being wiseman number 3 in his school nativity play, after 4 weeks of coaching!  This is not an easy thing for him, as his mind is always elsewhere - hope he has'nt forgotten again by tonight!
