Torbeshi - New ethnicity in Fyrom Macedonia
The Party of the European Future (PEI-Party of Muslim Macedonians) is asking the inclusion of the Torbesh community in the constitution of the Republic of Macedonia and guaranteed four till six seats in the parliament. For PEI the new discussed law for the changing of the already existing election's law is not acceptable and because of it they have applied 67 amendments.

"We are not invisible or a virtual community, but real and original community which numbers 120 000 till 150 000 people and according to all real assessments we are the third numerous ETHNICITY in Macedonia!" said Fiat Canovski the leader of DEI on the press conference yesterday in the Parliament.

I never thought they had a population of that size.

The only way to make sure people you agree with can speak is to support the rights of people you don't agree with.

Acroding 2002 census in MACEDONIA are more 20.000 Macedonian muslim...those macedonian muslim should be Torbesh.
