Trak and Rumble Tumble 1-30-04


Yet another great Friday night! Started off the evening with a few groups in Kael...however, Thudds Wrecking Crew beat us to the named mobs in the arena...

We then decided to head to Sebillis, hoping to find the Undead Bard up for Gio's last major epic mob....sure enough he was up, and Wushong led us down to Trak's lair in wonderful time, Aaradeb and Nral were CoH'ing necomers as they arrived....all went very smooth! Gio did his hand in, the Undead Bard went down quickly, as soon as he was down, POP goes Trakanon....Derva pulled and we quickly got the engage call.....I was a little worried, as we were a bit light on DPS than I would have liked, but Trakanon went down anyhow...Gratz Gio!!!!

Next on our hit list, was the giant named elemental RumbleCrush in Umbral Plains....Man, that guy has some hitpoints, and OW!! He hits hard! I was even more worried on this one...we had more DPS, but Shantar went down almost immediately, and was followed soon thereafter by Howlar...I kept spamming Light of Nife...a 1,152 HP 5 second heal, on Solaxx, until I was OOM....hoping to give Sarneho a few more seconds in between heals....however, that put me very high on the Rampage list, and after a few Rampages I was down and out of the fight....that was at 11 Percent, I believe Solaxx and I went down at the same time....I dreading hearing the ping-ponging of a wipe at the last bit of health, however, to my surprise by the time I popped in at my bind point it was announced that he in fact was dead! Awesome! Rumble has been on AIF's most wanted list for a LONG time, and we finally got him!

I also hear we got 18 people flagged for the PoN Hedge! Great job guys!

Several loots were awarded as well, hopefully Nef or Shantar can update this post to reflect what was awarded....

TRAKANON LOOTS:
I didn't catch the loots or raid participants for the UDB/Trakanon part (must not have autolog enabled on the wife's 'puter). Sorry. =(
