having a mixed cultural upbringing has just allowed me to pick the best parts of both cultures, while rejecting the parts i find wrong. This doesnt make me English.

What are you proud about as a Turk? I am very curious. How did your Turkish culture influence this world? What is purely Turkish that you are proud about other than invading other countries , raping a,looting and killing?
I have a book about Constantinople and most of the monuments there are Greek or Roman. Turkey is full of these. You have some some impressive Mosques. I have to grand you that. What else?

I am proud of my Turkish food, My Turkish army, My Turkish History. Who created the first army formation in the world- look it up. how about Gunpowder, we are born soldiers.
Btw Istanbul is only one city in Turkey
also we ruled the balkans and arabia for 600 years.

1-No wonder the Turkish Cypriots want to live on their own. LOL You have the audacity to preach about democracy, human rights, friendship and stuff like that. How come you want to live with them even though you hate them is beyond me!

3-It is not like scientific knowledge started with the ancient Greeks and ended right after they disappeared from the historical scene.

I think in the end the solution to the Cyprus problem will be an economic one. In a near future and due to money problems and chaos in general, Turkey will end up selling the "TRNC" to the ROC by the square kilometer.

Yeah, my fault! Every great scientist is somehow Greek. Without the ancient Greeks, we would still be living in caves. No one other than Greeks invented anything. Greeks did not collect and build on the knowledge of Egyptians, Babylonians, Persians, Phonecians etc. Greeks are übermenschen, Turks are animals.

He never said that. He just stated, many of the names you pointed out were able to make such big accomplishments from the basic ideas created by the Greeks.

Not really, but even if they did, Greeks played a part in continuing/creating theories e.t.c. The continuation of all civilisations. The line continued with other countries. After Greece it was Rome e.t.c
Where some countries continued this line, others came and tried to destroy it.

Desire I know exactly what TC went through .I also know what G Cypriots went through. What I don't believe and I will never believe is that Turkey came to "save" you.If they are offered a better deal now, they will throw TC's out like an old shoe.Every nation has its fascists from both sides and Cyprus was no exception. You think your mother suffered? My father was almost jailed been accused by the fascists that he was feeding the TC's in the village.My brother was almost killed for been a leftist and against EOKA B.
None of us should be proud of what took place in Cyprus. TMT was not any better. They managed to split the two communities apart.They killed innocent TC's because they associated themselves with G Cypriots and tried to pin it on us.
