update on my mom
Mom just got back from the doctor and the nodule is suspicious and the doctor has scheduled a biopsy for her for next week. Please continue to keep the situation and my mom in your prayers.

The biopsy went well and we should know the results next Monday.

my update...
Things are looking up around here.
My new house is beginning to look and feel like home. There are a few things that need tweaking, but I'm learning that Rome wasn't built in a day.
The most amazing thing is watching God provide. Whether it's financial, emotional or spiritual support, He's been there, every step of the way. I have a lot more friends than I ever realized.
It's been a long year.... but here's to the new one just around the bend.

It's so good to come "home" to good news. Praise God for the amazing ways He holds us in His hands and makes His provision fit needs we didn't even know we had.
Lorry...have you heard Sara Groves' song "Less Like Scars"? I thought of it immediately when I read your post. I'm trying to work up the courage to sing it in church, because it is the song of my heart right now...and I am positive you can relate to it as well.

I'll have to keep an eye out for it. I've liked her other songs...
And I'm glad yer 'home'.... every zonie here is part of that concept. When yer not here... something's missing. I understand life getting in the way, but I hope we can all find ways to keep our little community together.
