I've been reading through your work on this site, and I'm impressed. I chose this one to respond to first though, because it touches me somehow more than I thought it would. I find myself coming back to it. There's a melancholy to it that isn't overbearing. The last few lines especially:
It was me
Just me, and I loved you
That is so evocative - plaintive in it's way, and more powerful for the fact that it doesn't beat you over the head with itself. The end is surprising giving the "massacre" at the beginning, but to me, it speaks more truth that way. The fierce anger that, upon reflection, usually turns to sadness.
Great work. Really well done. I'm very much enjoying your presence here.
