You're not ignorant Shammala!! A sport playing in Australia is "Aussie Rules Football". Footy for short.

I love Australia!!! I have a dear good friend that lives there...actually I haven't talked to her since she moved back there for good)her marriage here to some rich jerk, went sour,)and in heartbreak she went home!!!Last I heard she was just outside of Sydney...I have never met a more down to Earth person seems everybody Downunder,is very grounded.
If you were to bring somebody to Australia, that has never been How would you describe it?

Girls get kicked off teams over here too, with soccer and footy! They feel the boys get toooo rough and once a girl starts developing, the team doesn't want to feel responsible for any girls being hurt.
We have soccer here too. Footy is a different game. They use a different shaped ball, run their guts out for two or so hours, wrestle and belt each other around - as well as get to play in the mud ('cause it's a Winter sport), see who can kick the furtherest, see who can run fastest and see who can kick the most goals!
The pros play in the AFL which is televised most of Winter, then there are minor leagues, then the local teams. Ahh, all that aside they wear really tight shorts with a guernsy (jumper) and some of them are soooooooo nice to look at, you wished it was on every day!

Let me think about this one Shammala, and I'll see what I can come up with. (I may be able to use it for my first essay in my creative writing course! )

Are these your children you're referring to? I would love to answer anything I'm able to. The next two weeks I won't be on quite as often being our sons school holidays, but I'll check in when I can!

John Edward did all the main Cities around Australia. Melbourne was our closest and I didn't go. I commend John Edwards on his ability and for bringing it to the people, but something with him doesn't sit right with me.

You're not ignorant! Geez, how else do we learn if we don't ask questions!
It'll be fun finding answers for them *whispering* Just tell them not to ask questions that are too hard..

Re: WalksWith dances, sings and talks
Walkswith, I also did not take to John right away either, my daughter saw him on the tv, and told me to watch him. I did, at first, not thinking much about him, but the more I watched the more I liked Him. I went to see him in Chicago at one of his seminars. His energy is amazing!! I met people there, and one lady had a digital camera, and she took pictures. I got the pictures, and looked at them, and that was that. Something lead me back to the pictures, and when I looked at them I was in amazement at the orbs that were in that picture, and on stage, before he even came out! WOW!!
Thanks for listening to all my jibber-jabber!!
