Here's the news and highlights for Week #121 for the Avengers in Faith!

Headline News
- We're Going to Fenway!: Cabula tempted Nefarrio, Nral and Shantar (maybe a few other New Englanders) into a Red Sox game at Fenway Park (the tempting line, of course, was women in faded jeans and tight T-shirts, that's what sold Shantar) this summer. Not sure how this made the AIF highlights, but it's probably based on the Newsletter Editor's fixation on women in faded jeans and tight T-shirts ... Looking forward to the event, Cabula, thanks for setting it up!!

- AiF / EvD Annhilate Hate: AIF and EVD joined forces once again, sojurning this time to the Plane of Hate. Melange organized the raid, and it was expected to be an Epic Hunt, looking for ranger, enchanter and shadow knight drops, and it was coordinated as a 3-group XP grind (i.e., the three groups were not part of a raid, pulled their own MOBs, etc.). We didn't land any Epic Drops, but we pulled lots of Tier 1, Tier 2 and some Tier 3 mini's, getting plenty of Marsinger drops for those who were looking for them.

- Trakanon Trashed: It was back down into the ruins of Old Sebilis this past week, as EvD came up for their rotation turn on Trakanon. We had 5 groups with an average level of 62, I've never seen a dragon die so fast! Congratz to Quagmeyer (EvD) and Woodiey (AiF) on your Reet Crowns. Congratz to Nuamas (AiF) on your Tolan's Breastplate. Congratz to Jaehlle, Millow and Badchad on your Trakanon's Teeth. Woot, we're off to Veeshan's Peak soon!

- SE BoT Tower Raid: Jaehle, Norrath's Sexiest Glutton for Punishment, organized another raid in the SE Tower of Bastion of Thunder. It was AIF and EVD's second attempt at this mini, and while it was a total wipe, the attempt was much improved over our first run -- getting Auliffe Chaoswind down to 8% health!!! Next time, he's a gonner for sure!

- Alliance Hysteria on the RTA Boards: There was some alliance hysteria on the RTA boards as accusations started to fly (before any inquiry or investigation of the subject was made) about a formal alliance between AIF and EVD. This event occured after some board trolls came snooping along and saw our raid plans for Manaetic Behemoth. We've announced to the RTA (earlier than we wanted to) that both guilds are in discussion about a possible alliance / merger, but as yet have made no formal pact. For now, both guilds continue to join all RTA rotations on their own initiative, but we hope that will change very soon!

- AIF Mininum Level Policy Adjusted: We have adjusted our min level policy to reflect the ongoing advancement and development of AIF. Rather than a flat "46th level, all classes" model, we've changed to a tiered min level system -- were some classes are able to join AIF at earlier levels than others. This reflects the core class needs of the guild for various raid events. More details can be found in the here.
