It was pretty good. We went to the football game Friday, I had a headach for three days after. The music was soooo loud. Guess DH and I are getting old
Saturday, my nieces came to visit. That was the most fun. Clay and I were going to go out to eat but we decided to eat with my nieces and his family and that we would go out to eat next Saturday (this coming Saturday). Sunday, we just laid around, I went to see my parents, he went off with his dad.
But overall it was a good weekend. I can tell from your post that you had a good weekend. I am glad you got to see snow . I could just see you now, all those little kids passing you and you can barely stand on those skies
then falling on your butt Sorry I don't mean to laugh at you but you have to admit that it is pretty funny

I'm sure Dh will make it up to you! But it was important to both of you to see the family. That happens alot with us. We have large families, whilie mine lives here Dh's family is all out of town except for his parents and brothers!

We stayed with family friends in Franklin, NC..
Went to the casino in Cherrokke..
Went skiing in Boone, NC
And went to Gatlinburg.

Man you just traveled the world didn't you? Clay and I went there on our honeymoon. I wasn't too impressed with the casino. I wanted to see some action, you know real dealers and when we went they didn't have that. Hopefully one day Clay and I can go to Vegas. That would be fun, except we would lose everything we own and have to move in with our parents. Oh second thought......

Yeah, I wasnt too impressed that it wasnt the "real" thing. We hope to go to Vegas too! That probaly wont happen for a couple years though! gambling isnt bad if you can control yourself, Me? I can Dh? He scares me, he gets addicted! You just have to go in with a certain amount of money and know when to walk away!!
WE were busy though! Dh even got to sneak in some time with his Dad who lives up there. Which was nice for him. They have had a rocky relationship over the years, that seems to be improving. So that was good.

That is so great that your DH's relationship with his father is improving. I think mine with my family is deteriorating.
I think Clay and I won't go until our 10 yr anniversary. We are planning on taking an Alaskan Cruise. Yes, I am scared to fly and I am afraid it will be the Titanic all over again. But maybe on our way home we can fly to vegas for a couple of nights. My brother and his fiance are going in May.

I know what you mean! I was never scared before but after 9/11 I'm not eager to fly anymore. Although everything would probably go ok...
No major plans. We have another wedding to go to. I think we will just hang around and do much of nothing. AHHHHH a new car? I am gettin one soon. Hopefully sooner than later! What are you going to get? I WANT a tahoe but I'm gonna settle with DH for a Trail Blazier....either one will work for me!!

yeah I am hoping too. DH stayed home sick today and has been out riding around looking for me a new car. We are looking at Ford Expeditions. See DH has a brand new ford f-250 crew cab (it looks like a 4 door expedition w/out the back caper shell) he bought this last year when i was pregnant, it was going to be our family car of course i was I wanted an SUV and he goes and buys this big ole truck that only has 6000 miles on it and we have had it almost a year. This is like the sunday car, we only drove it from his dad's to my house. I think it might have had 4000 miles when we bought it. It hasn't been driven in 3 or 4 weeks. Now he wants to make me feel guilty becasue he is trading in the truck of his dreams for me a new car. I haven't had a new car in 10 years! Oh well, justice will be done this weekend
I think the new trail blazers are nice, but we are a ford family, well dh is a ford man, my dad is a chevy man, every car he has is a chevy man.
why is it we always have to compromise? Go figure.

Oh you guys sound like me and DH!!! Just like us. THat is Dh's dream truck too. If fact he wants to buy me a truck! I say !!! I want an SUV, why do I need a truck?????? Then It won't be mine it will be yours!! I tell him wait until next May when I get out of school and you can have that big truck!!!!! Its my turn, dang it, I've had the same car since I started driving (98 cavalier).. So hes gonna give in..and keep my car for him to drive back and forth to work and my new one with be the family car....Plus,,,,,, He still is going to keep his truck!!!

We traded Clay's truck for it, which is fine with me he never drove it anyway. Clay has a company truck, so the only time he would drive his truck is maybe on the weekends or it we went somewhere.
But since he traded it for me I have to listen to his mouth. He is making snide comments about losing his truck for me Now you know how my weekend went, absolutely wonderful. I put 70 miles on it in two days

Our weekend was nice. It rained all weekend here. UGH, our yard is flooded. Another reason I need a new car is because I almost got DH's truck stuck in the driveway!!!!!! I had to put on the 4 wheel drive!! Now you could imagine..my car didnt move since Thursday! I was lucky to get out this morning! I thought I would be "rained in" And the bad part is we are going to get more rain tonight. The wedding was nice. We got to see a lot of old friends from school and actually some of them came over after the wedding. We were up til like 2:00 because they just kept and !!! But it was nice to catch up. Just from staying up so late!

I'm right there with ya...We are in bed by 9:30 almost every night. If we make it to the 11 news something is wrong! Even on the weekends...we start at 10:00 and I'm like this is pathetic!!!

What is it with men wanting to control every aspect of their wives. My dh told me what we were buying, like i didn't have a choice, now i'm glad we did but I'm not gonna tell him that. I did tell dh that I didn't want a 4w drive because I would never use it, if it was icey i wasn't driving so it didn't matter. He told me that yes we are gettinga 4wd and that was final. Something about the resale value, I'm sure it is better but I wasn't gonna tell him that I will just let him think he has the upper hand

It rained ALL night last night and almost all day. This is not getting any better. I love winter but I so do love summer too!!! WE have had a winter in this year in FL!!
As for , I want to start again now.....but DH wants to wait a few more months. But I respect that...He has some hesitations, He says if something were to happen again that he couldnt watch me go through that again so soon. I think he is still a little broken up inside about losing the baby, but it is hard to get him to actually say that. Right now, I'm ok untill he is ready. But it is hard. But, in the meantime I guess you never know!!

I can understand what your DH is saying, Clay never did tell me why he didn't want to try but I know why.
Right now I am 3 dpo. I am in the 2ww and I am handling it better than I did last month. I have this "if it is meant to be my month then it will happen" Last month I was obsessed!
I couldn't wait to go to bed so I could temp in the morning. I am ok with whatever happens, of course I would love to be big and fat but I can keep trying if it isn't our month.
I am just enjoying the fest that we are having. DH is stingy when it comes to sex. I am a nypho (sp) I want it all the time and dh could go years w/o having it. He says that it isn't important but what is important is hmmmm how can i put this, that he gets satisfied:rolf3 I can't believe I just said that but hey we talk about everything else, cm to sex
We have had a cold winter too, hopefully the mosquitos won't be as bad, I am allergic and they seem to love me but won't touch anyone else if I am in a group of people. I was so scared to go outside last summer, I was preg and I was scared of the West nile virus that they were spreading. If I get pregnant this summer, you won't see me outside after dark.
