 What I love About You...
Have you ever sat and read posts and for some reason on person or another just inspires the hell out of you? And Then you begon to think of all the ways this person has filled your life with riches untold?
This thread is so we can verbalize what it is that make us so special to one another. Whenever you get the chance, post a shout out in this thread. Pick a member for the day who simply amazes you, without whom you cant imagine your life. Just one *I know thats going to be hard because we are so tightly knit, we want EVERYONE to know they are special and why, but my thinking is this, if u pick one person, all of the positive you are focusing on will transfer to that person, sharing with them the gift they have given you simply by being*
We can keep this going indefinately, for what inspires you will change as each of use grows and adds even more of ourselves to eachothers lives...i hope that makes sense.
Todays shout out for me is going to be Narshaadah...
Narsh has given me a willing shoulder all i have ever had to do is ask. She iinspires me by her selfless love of animals who would never survive without her love care and support. She never turns away a friend and every person she meets is a potential friend. She has a heart so open and a spirit so true, it is utterly impossible to not trust her. Yet beneath her loveing exterior lies the spirit of a warrior. a woman who loves her child and will die to protect him. a woman you know will protect those in danger with the ferocity of a tiger, stand firm tall and proud for her beliefs while defending the right of others to beleive differntly. She shares freely her wisdom, and will stand up and say "i dont know this but i want to learn" the mark of a true genious.
My life is so much richer for knowing her thank goddess i do

This is a wonderful idea,Gaia.And,I agree about Narshaadha,too.This woman has one of the hugest hearts I've ever known.She is one of those who I can say I feel like I've known forever,and believe it.From the first few chats we've had,I've felt like she was a long lost sister.My own sister agrees with me on that one.She even knew our little "absotively-posolutely" thing.She has enriched my life,and I love her dearly.

Todays shout out is for vicky (astara) Her love for her child and her devotion to her is palatable. besides recreating her life ina positve way this year, she has seen her children threw so much. Here on the board she offers her wisdom freely, her strength without thinking and her friendship with out question. love ya vick

I just want talk about someone today who has impacted my life(for the better)ever since the day I first met her on the UB forum.She's been one hell of a friend and mentor,on so many levels that I dont know where to start.She's given so much of herself,be it encouragement,advice,instruction,or just a shoulder to lean on,that sometimes I feel like I could never repay it all in this lifetime.Thank you for being you,Esta.

Shad stole my shut out fr today!!!! GMTA again huh? lol
From day one esta has helped make this board a HOME!! she patrols our halls and tweaks colors that are visually unfriendly, she gives free use of her spiritually uplifting artwork, she has NEVEr made me feel dumb even when i really screw up big. If I had to chose a picture to place under the definitin of friend in websters....it would be estas lovely face gracing that page we learn so much from her...thank you for finding us esta...I missd you before i even knew you...i love you my darling sister

Todays shout out Goes to Taz! (ok so its been a while...sue me)
Be honest, How many of us has Ian coached threw saving their PCs from an inevitable crash??? and just how many guys can you bandy about PMS, cramps, ovaries and threesomes with and he STILL be a perfect gentle man??? and just how many guys will sit quietly and listen for DAYS and DAYS on end when a friend has a problem and still not say "ugh shut up al.ready!"?? not many. My Taz is truly the gardian of maidens for he has been a constant support for each of us since he fell threw our door.
Taz, you honor us with knowing you and with the gift of your friendship
 Thank you so much Ian for being my friend
(even if you do attract monkians to smell up the place Tee hee hee)

Those who feel that ive helped them are really the ones to thank, Im glad I found COTES, all of you (even those i havent helped or know that well) are a great bunch - sorry make that FAMILY to have.

More then a few of us has had shaduexs ear or shoulder thrust upon them in times of need. "Here I am, and I love you." These words could very well be deemed shads motto. I find it truly amazing that even when her life is totaly up in a heavel, shad will STILL be able to divine that you need her and will make time to not only listen and help you solve a problem, but once it is out in the open, she will not ALLOW you to dwell on it! It is with great pride that I count her among my closet friends. It has been my honor to speak with her almost daily for a year...and my admiration never fails. She is strong, protective, forgiving, proud (ok stubborn as a half dead mule lol) and gentle and nurturing.
Shad you are the a teacher of so much...unconditional love, tolerance, humility and responsibilty. I could never begin to thank you for the joy and wonder I have had in my life since you have become part of it. Thank you for being my friend and spirit sister

I have seen this in Shade in her posts at different boards.
a constantness that is nice to know.
A Courage which is an example.
A demeanor that is straightforward, no-holds-barred, but i like that.
I know of little other than what I've read which has to be only a glimmer of the whole.

in the past months he's been a great shoulder to cry on, as gaia's already said, even about things mentioned in gaia's post, but l think he deserves another thank you, just for continuing to be one of the greatest guys - and friends - a girl could have. l love ya, ian.
