I think Draco will get "partial" credit from Voldemort for getting the Death Eaters into Hogwarts and setting Dumbledore up to be killed.

While I doubt he dies, he hasn't fully proven himself yet. I see Volders sending him out on another mission.

His story should get interesting in the next book.

a) He "owes" Snape now.

b) He couldn't bring himself to kill Dumbledore, so there is a chance that Dumbledore convinced him to switch sides. At a minimum, he's wavering.
