Beren Camlost Hobbit Posts: 6 (11/11/03 8:46 am) Reply	What colour is Gandalf? I'm a bit confused here, I thought that Gandalf started out as being grey, then after his little sojourn under the depths of the earth becomes "The White Rider", and then I thought he made reference to the fact that his clothes are in fact not just one colour, but many...however looking back over the book, I can only find reference to Saruman as having multi-coloured garb... Have I confused the two, or is there a reference to Gandalf having many colours? Thanks
