What would you do re SARS
O.k, we are in a situation here. Dh's aunt just died. One of his other aunts son is coming back from Singapore tonight. We aren't close to them so doubt if we will see him, but dh's parents probably will at the funeral. How do we handle this???? I don't want to avoid his parents but I don't want to risk contaminating ourselves either. I've heard that there is a 3 wk incubation period. I am one of these persons that avoids people with colds etc if I can (I am not fanatical or have any mental disorders from this), and get my son immunized. I am so freeked out over this disease and almost fell over when I heard he was coming back. What do we do :confused .

Thanks for the help.

Wow - I don't know. That's a hard one. Can you ask them about it before their arrival? Or are you not that close? Perhaps they would understand your concern? Are they feeling well themselves? Of course, with a three week incubation, how would they know.

Maybe you should ask your doc? :confused

Good luck, either way. :heart

That is a hard one....I am a germ freak and admit it! I would probably stay away if I could. The SARS thing freaks me out. We live in Colorado and there are 3 cases here (they think). Calling your Dr. is a good idea!
