Where are They?
I guess I've sort of been a fan of this band since I first heard their songs "Number 9" and "Hands In The Air" on the 1997 Simply Groovy New Music Sampler, but didn't become a huge fan until I was "converted" to Christian rock after finding Three Crosses, and re-discovering the sampler. If you're wondering what I mean by "converted", I'll put it this way. When I first heard "Jonah" by Grammatrain, I wondered how anyone could like that style. Now, it's one of my favorite songs. Anyway, I love the band, and have 4 of their CDs (self-titled, Unfazed,Wonderfully Made and the Blue Belly Sky re-issue), and have been wondering what they're up to since they released Wonderfully Made in 2001. I was glad to see that their site was still up, and even saw something about them playing in Pennsylvania not long ago. However, their site isn't there anymore, and they aren't listed in the "Artists" section on Inpop's site. Does anyone know what's going on? I hope they haven't decided to call it quits.

It's hard to tell what is going on with Inpop. The Waiting's website server is down indefinitely. The Waiting is very much still together.
And I know I've been afraid of
Every little thing
But today I join creation
when I raise my head and sing
She's opend my eyes, and now I'm where I belong, joined in a song

That's good to hear. I'll go email Inpop and see if I can dig up more info.

Inpop probably doesn't have any up-to-date information. If you are wanting to know anything in particular, let me know.

Well, as you've probably figured out by now, I never heard back from Inpop. Anybody know what the band is up to?

The Waiting in Florida in March
Here's the only date I've been able to track down: On Saturday, March 20, 2004, The Waiting will be appearing with Smalltown Poets (!), Ten Shekel Shirt, and Audio Adrenaline at SoulJam 2004 in Bonifay, FL. Tickets are $20, and the number to call for info. is 850-547-5363.
That's a heck of a drive from PA, but one that I'm considering.
