Windows Key Killer Program
I have one. Its a small program that runs in the background that basically shutsoff your windows key. I use it for quite a few games and it works very well. I have used it under win98 and winxp. I would guess it works under most all windows os's.
If anyone wants it email me at rpeppler.spam@nucleus.com and drop the .spam..
I will reply and send it to you. Its not a big program so should be no problem with email.
Is there someplace on our site here that it can be uploaded by someone so its there for everyone to get whenever they want?

OOps sorry I moved the other post to hall of scholors since this seemed like something that would help everyone avoid those pesky windows drops. Do you have a link to someplace folks can safely download it?
Re: Windows Key Killer Program
I couldnt agree more, being a Sr Network Security Engineer by day and a Scout by night I personally wouldnt feel safe obtaining some rogue application from anyone. If there is a link to the windows key killer on tucows.com persay I would be more than happy to give it a shot, considering that damn windows key is often my demise.

I found that Phiscally removing the key from my keyboard works best. Simply put the edge of a butter knife under the key and pry.

There is no original link. It came from a very good friend of mine over 2 years ago via email. Ive used it for 2 years now with no problems or side affects. Its upto you all if you feel safe with it or not. I understand your concerns.
No problem Anne on the topic move. I wondered where it went. I thought I screwed up on the post
